You assume he is an atheist simply because he believes it was originally a pagan holiday?.

Quite quick to judge others aren't you.

Yes because calling the second most sacred holyday pagan is a godless act. I may be wrong tough. Altough many atheists do this.

it has nothing to do with jesus christ being born it's paganism
it's been around before jesus was born
the same with easter rabbits and eggs represent the goddess of fertility and ***
and then around 9 months after easter the birth of nimrod which is christmas

This guy is right. Any idiot should know that Jesus died between March and April. He was 33 1/2 years old when he died. Half a year is 6 months. Count six months backwards and u end up in the fall. The holiday that lies on December 25 was a pagan holiday called the "saturnalia" (I think that's wat it's called) anyway it was a pagan harvest holiday.

Pagan holyday? Atheist, people who claim to believe only what is proven, make statements like this that go agains all reasoning. I'm not talking about all atheists but just about your kind. Hope you enjoy trolling since it is obiously the only thing in you life.

I mean you don't have to believe me, but I know my history. Also I believe in God and love him, but I don't deny facts.

Research the origin of Christmas and Easter when you get a chance. Otherwise I'm done talking to you.

Any idiot should know that it's an inaccurate date and that the number doesn't really matter and that what was held back then wasn't a holiday but a winter festival. Use the wikipedia. Another thing is that Christians didn't take it from pagans Christmas didn't exist before Jesus Christ. Christians just inherited the tradittion of giving gifts to each other. This doesn't make it pagan since it is a gesture.

Even if it is a "Godless Act" i hardly see how people are Trolls/retards or uneducated for thinking it.

I did do my research some time ago and you should take a reminder that Christmas hasn't been taken by Christians but the traddition of putting up a festival since the day that was worshipped in Rome up until then was a winter festival. Christmas belongs to Christianity. Sorry for calling you an atheist if you are a Christian. You just acted like an atheist in your post.

As much as I need.

Well, I do a lot and there is no record of Christmas in the first century or even a command to his disciples to celebrate his date of birth. In fact it's not just Christmas, Christendom has inherited a lot of pagan practices and masquerade them as Christian

You obiously didn't read enough then. Christmas is a Christian holiday. The fact that pagans celebrated something else on that day is completely irrevelant. And there is no command in celebrating it. Why should there be?

I'm not in any religion but my faith is strong. See this Roman festival your talking about is a pagan holiday to celebrate the harvest. I suggest you do better research. Do you even know how Christianity started?

To say that was a godless time or whatever is silly. If you truly have faith in God you should believe that all things are created in gods kingdom. To say something is godless is because it doesn't follow what the Bible says is close mindedness. And if anything is underminding God.

Exactly. What non-Christians celebrate is NOT Christmas it is a festival wich has nothing to do with Christianity. The problem is they like to mask it as Christmas so that Christians would forget about what is really celebrated. I disagree on the part in wich you said Christmas can be celebrated withoud God since it makes no sense what so ever.

Saying that things that go against God's word are godless is close minded. That open mind is a pretty pittiful thing then.

Jesus was born a different day, yet the holiday u celebrate corresponds exactly with a pagan Roman festival, and u think u r still celebrating Christ's birthday?

OK, whatever

So let's see if a there was a massacre on a day on wich you are born, then that means that you're actually celebrating the massacre and your birth is there just to mask it up. Nice way of thinking. Now you can say whatever.

Jesus birth date is in the fall and u celebrate Christmas in the winter. See how it doesn't add up?

Now it is a Christian holiday, we're just telling you it didn't start off as one and it was adopted by Christians and Catholics from a previous era.

Also now it's suppose to be a day to celebrate Jesus birthday, but it wasn't his actual birthday
Doesn't mean you have to celebrate different.

It adds up perfectly to the fact that you are actually the one who missed the point of my post. Don't try to change the topic on one detail and make the thing that really matters in this debate go unseen and that is a false claim of Christmas being stolen by Christianity. As for the date I have already said that it's the meaning that matters not the formality.
