Raikiri was never stated to be able to cut through everything, it was just stated to have cut through lightning, which is true because it did...
You're contradicting yourself.
You said you can't make excuses for Yata's power, yet you just said you can for Hiruzen because 600 chapters later it disproved it. So, tell me, what if Yata's power gets disproved within the next 20 chapters. What will you say then?
Hm..
Ya might want to re-read the paragraph next to kakashi.
Funfact: 500 pages later and raikiri still has never failed to cut something... Including v2 jins that kusanagi couldn't pierce.
Even sasuke's version cut a juubi jin in 2.
So...?
You're contradicting yourself.

Lol @ People calling it hyperbole, there's no hyperbole, just lack of feats.
However according to the DB & the manga yata has been shown to do everything that they both mentioned.

It blocked every attack coming it's way, & it changed it's properties.
There's nothing contradicting the statements regarding the yata mirror, if kishi wanted to do so he could have had edo itachi use it so it would break. It's been stated & shown that it can block the incoming attack.
Yata mirror in the databooks and manga was stated to change its properties to prepare for any incoming attack.
It's stated Yata mirror can stop anything.
I love how people try to put common sense in to Naruto and say "how can Yata possibly stop this or that.", or "Anyone who says Yata is as good as its stated to be is just an Itachi fan boy".
The burden of proof is on you Yata haters, you have to prove Yata's faults/weakness, otherwise it stands firm, and you have no way of saying it can't stop this or that. Love when people use the manga factually, but at the same time try to take away from it to strengthen their arguments.
Inb4 someone says: Well the manga stated that Hiruzen was the strongest of all hokages. Well the manga disproved that 600 chapters later by showing Hashirama Senju's power + he was the only one going toe to toe with Madara while Hiruzen did nothing.
Yata mirror on the other hand is yet to be disproved. #rantover.
"Can block all attacks"
That is a hyperbolic statement whether you agree or not.
You saying it can block all attacks based on a hyperbolic statement and the fact that its blocked whatever its come across is also a No Limits Fallacy, and the underlined isn't evidence that helps the "yata blocks all attacks" argument.
There are other hyperbolic statements that haven't been contradicted, should I go take those as facts as well?
The Yata is overrated and shit stuff introduced in the manga.
I will never acknowledge it along with Totsuka shitty blade, due to lack of feats against current op hax powers/ abilities, lack of proper introduction(Their's origin are unknown, Itachi founding them just like that is BIG PLOT HOLE). Last thing Both weapons were used as plot deux ex machina decive/stuff, it has not impact in the story or on the plot.
YATA MIRROR AND TOTSUKA BLADE ARE THE WORST SHIT Kishi has introduced in his manga. He is guilty for masses of Itachi fapboys stating he can even challenge Goku..., which is RIDICULOUS.
I hope that he either bring them back to destroy their hype or set limit on them or admit that they were only plot device and they were never meant to be part of his story.
Yata is overrated, a databook means shit, if Madara was to say to Sasuke 'the yata mirror would be useless against my susano'o' then would that not mean the mirror is no longer invincible?
Tbh, if Itachi had this unbreakable defence, why did he not go for Naruto instead of Nagato?
Also I already stated that the manga disproved Hiruzen being the strongest Hokage, why was Hashi fighting Madara and not Hiruzen then?
"It can change every one of it's properties" Is also a hyperbolic statement according to you. If so then everything the DB writes about it should just be disregarded entirely.
Just because it sounds unreasonable doesn't mean it's hyperbole, yata has been classified as something completely different than other tools. It's a magical/spiritual weapon & not of this world.
When the DB says "in the face of a god's power", that's when it's making hyperbolic statements. The difference between yata's statement & other hyperbole is that this has been mentioned multiple times & it's something that has been given multiple chances to be contradicted, yet still hasn't been.
Ok, going by pure Manga facts,
Hiruzen can use Kotoamatsukami because Koto is a Konoha Jutsu. You must admit this to be true since we are both using manga facts.
Now, Question. Why didn't Itachi become invincible and save the world?
Your making no sense. Hiruzen was probably not born yet or probably a toddler at that time. Your own logic is flawed. Chapter 600 proved Madara lost to Hashirama, nothing more. You come off as a buthurt 10 year old Itachi wanker.
So the fact that Itachi has hax weapons bothers you that much, huh?
It wasn't a plot hole considering that at that point in the story Itachi was known to be the wiser living known Uchiha and to have done extensive reading. His character type is also pretty mysterious and he always has something up his sleeve, those weapons were pretty much made for him. It was expected that he'd have a trump card during his fight with Sasuke anyway.
There aren't masses of Itachi fanboys claiming he can defeat Goku with them, that's just ludicrous and trolling. There are also Minato fanboys who claim he can beat Goku, Obito fanboys who claim he can beat Goku with kamui, and Madara fanboys who claim he can beat Goku...but they don't seem to bother you for some reason.
They are a part of the story. You saw them in the manga and they are a part of Itachi's arsenal. He's not bringing them back, considering that their only user has been dead for hundreds of chapters, in fact since ch 393.
