I dont agree due to simple fact that people hate for many reasons, they even hate to hate and hate some more in result U_U

I'm sorry, I don't think I know what you don't agree with. Are you talking about hatred in NV?

That one too, kishi cannot introduce another concept of hatred its beyond his writing power.
It is known that in NV people have waged wars long before kaguya.
So your theory that hatred is result of chakra stolen from juubi via kaguya and then spread out fails imho.

Very true. Another point I think kishi was trying to make is that hatred has always been a part of this world regardless of people having chakara or no chakara. I just tried to narrow it down to what it has become now then in part 2 I will describe how it is going to be dealt with.
Looking forward 2 it

true but I don't remember saying that it was a result of kaguya stealing chakara from the juubi. I even said that Kaguya might have become the juubi so that was not what I was implying. when I said I think she is the source along with the juubi, I was referring to the current hatred in NV and even included the scan where Hagoromo said that it got worse once she had that power. I know there was hatred before that but I think it intensified once she had power and became the hatred that we see now.

I hope that made sense.

Good read man.kaguya and juubi may not the start of hearted bt they both started some biggest war in all time.ashura an Indra come in to second place.
By in same time too much of love that u never understand and u can never get make hearted too.thats wt happened with madara , tobirama ,obito etc...
No one can erase the hearted only can buried it deep using love.when u lost faith on that love it will pop out again.

A really good analysis. I really like the theme here that you pointed out, that the "Sages" as you call them failed because they lost faith in the world, which is true of Obito, Nagato, and Madara.

You are right that Madara resembles all of the "Fallen Savior" Naruto character archetypes, which I too believe is what Kishi is focusing on. We see these characters mostly acquire the notion that they must do anything for power, so that they may do good with said power.

The only thing I think we may not be able to conclude is if Kaguya is in fact this kind of "hatred"/ambition or if she is pure greed with a lack of good intentions (sort of like what we knew of part 1 Orochimaru). Madara's hatred/will may yet be another subgroup of an even larger 'darkness', figuratively speaking, in which Kishi may yet use that to show a new theme (although admittedly Madara has most recently been compared to Kaguya so that may possibly be a giveaway.)

Nonetheless, we shall see. Awesome effort and very good analysis and comparisons =D

First of all, thanks for reading!

I agree with what you said about Kaguya but for that I decided to implement my own opinion on the matter haha. Obviously we will learn more about that as the story progresses but right now I thought there was enough evidence( like the details that we have received about her and what you mentioned about her comparison to madara) to build this "opinion".

In terms of a larger darkness, like you mentioned, I think it safe to say that the hatred that madara embodies is the hatred/darkness that exist in the ninja world. I don't believe there is a larger one, although I did think that there is always the possibility that the sage's brother has something to do with it, but we don't know anything about him as of yet so I left it out.

Nice read.

I agree - Madara is the one responsible for most of the hatred that exists in NV today. Kaguya started this whole thing by consuming the fruit and spreading the Juubi's chakra to everyone. Madara only added petrol to the already intense flame.

You mentioned there are six "sages" but only described four. I guessed you will reveal who they are on your next chapter - my bet, Naruto and Sasuke lol.

Yes I only mentioned four sages and I will talk about the other two in part 2 but you guessed right haha, it is Naruto and Sasuke.

A very Nice thread. I agree with it mostly except the Kaguya part. Kaguya's only job was to stop the reproduction the the Shinju through the fruit. The fruit itself is the manifestation of hatred, that continued down by being passed throught the Bijuu and the successor's.
