Why does Tsunade have to fight face to face? She can't use her terrain? She doesn't have any tactics from the wars or the battles? Never knew this was a Naruto Ninja Storm type of a fight.. thought this was a real fight.

Personally I can only argue for Hashirama's and Ems Madara's sake.


Hashirama can win simply by using bringer of darkness and either binding gai with Hashirama's vast number of suppressing mokuton jutsu or using clones and/or himself while having gai in bringer of darkness genjutsu. Also Hashirama has a lot of jutsu to keep gai at bay until he expires himself out, such as Wood Forest which is deep and vast, Wood Forest Flower World which would render gai unconscious, Wood Golem and giant wood hands to further keep him at bay, note Wood Golem stalemeted perfect susano and catches tbbs like jerry rice caught footballs, Quintiple Rashomon( 5 gates ), and Buddha Statue. All would give hashirama ample time to stall until gai expires along with my other option.



Ems Madara has the kyuubi as a summon and I highly doubt gai can just get through the greatest defense ever and the kyuubi clad in it. You have to be logical and say in order for gai to be effective he would need be able to get out or range but I find that a very hard task since the kyuubi and ps both cover great distances with their abilities such as the kyuubi spamming tbb's and madara's ps shockwave covering all area's in front of it. Gai wouldn't be able to dodge all of that.



As for naruto, and sasuke, it would take gai to be in the 8th gate to win, the 7th or less wouldnt work.

I said that those people you named don't have the same striking speed as gai, as gai is the only one that can cause fire when punching. But still the people you named won't necessarily be defeated by gai.
head blitz argument was for tsunade alone. tsunade's speed in both traveling and striking is less than gai

Techincally they don't need to touch him physically themselves when they have jutsu. You forget that these shinobi you mentioned are high level and skills and experienced. All aside from the arrogant Godara who openly wanted to fight and 8th gate no other high level shinobi would allow gia to enter the 8th gate. Shinobi like obito would attack gai while he's opening a gate as well as itachi and madara, Hashirama would spam his mokuton jutsu and bind gai immediately. If gai can get into the 8th gate he can win but gicing him the 8th gate from the start is creating a scenario specifically for him to win.

Bro.. i'm trying to make a point here, that people use "headblitz" for Gai/lee/Minato.. only when it comes to other characters.. but when its about their favs.. nah man, they can't use headblitz excuse.... because they'll plenty of reasons..

Most hypothetical fights are made on assumptions based on feats shown in the manga. I don't understand how you call V/S thread as 'fanfic' fights.

Speedstars always win against slower characters in every battle, no matter how much skill the opponent has (except for magic users and reality manipulators. That's why Flash wins against Superman, even though superman is way stronger.

In real life scenario, Gai will do the same what he did to Tsunade. With less difficulty because she can't manipulate water to protect herself and use element based ninjutsu. Tsunade is like hulk, just a punching bag for speedstars
