The difference between Kisame and Tsunade is that Byakugou will save Tsunade from what would take out Kisame. Gai can't hope to beat her in byakugou mode when his gates are always one big attack and then he's exhausted.

Gai is beating her with 7 gates minimum and even then victory is not sure. because she can tank afternoon tiger. His only option is to go at it to wear her down.

Also to people saying she can't hit him, he has a slow period between the higher gates. And Tsunade is not too slow to close in on a already close ranged fighter who will be fighting her close range.

Gai can never beat byakugou Tsunade with anything less than high diff.

And what if he opens only 3 gates?

-Massive Speed boost

Byakugou can last hours on end. Proven by the fight with Madara, even then she wasted chakra on other people. Imagine if she was dealign with only herself.

He can't take her out that easy, i'm telling you guys she can kill him. She can take him out once he uses hirudora and falls down or she herself can play dead (since you know he doesnt know about her abilities) and his him with BPD and or w/e she wants really.

The issue is not him but her ability to tank every stinkin thing that he would use.

He was surprised because he didn't expect her to be able get up. He let his guard down, and got tagged due to that, not her speed.

Tsunade has never been hyped for speed, and the third databook goes to show that by giving her a 3.5.

A direct daytime tiger would splat Tsunade's skull. Gai's attacks against Kisame were being thrown in water, which reduced the power of the blow. How many daytime tiger can be resisted by Tsunade? Kisame has stamina comparable to a bijuu. Gai won't need to get exhausted to kill Tsunade. 6th gate his enough for her

Instant regeneration sir. Kisame lacks it, Tsunade has better durability feats than him, she was able to endure the heavenly transfer and only use creation rebirth after she went through it.

Kisame that fought gai the first time was a clone and the second time he did not have samehada. Chakra levels have nothing to do with his ability to take gai's hits anyhow.

Don't ABC logic this, Kisame is a totally different kind of ninja to Gai. Instead of telling me what you think why not prove what you claim. Gai can't hope to kill Tsunade before he exhausts himself. She won't just be standing there and letting him whale on her.

I admire your thread for all its purpose however wrong it may be. Lets start with the first point you tried to make with Itachi Uchiha.

Itachi, yes he opted to flash his ms when provoked by kisame, why? Who knows, what we do know is kisame never saw itachi's ms when that situation happened, because Itachi had his back to him(this is 1 way of putting this down). Next, you yourself said abc logic doesn't work well in nv, so why use it? You used it when you made the comparison between how Itachi handled kisame and how he handled gai( 2nd way of putting this down). Finally, when Itachi saod to kisame " don't underestimate him " Itachi had already exhausted his ms, not only that but it was never Itachi's intention to hurt the leaf which means its shinobi as well, since we all know that it was Itachi's extended mission to watch the akatsuki as a spy for the leaf while being exiled. If you argue this then you deny the very manga you read. Also I just want to clean things up a bit, you said Gai was at a disadvantage and I agree but you then go on to say Gai was destroying kisame, and well thats just not true, Kisame was winning the fight up until the final technique clash between the two shinobi and well had that been anyone else tech they would have lost but since gai wasn't using chakra he got the better end, but we need to note kisame wasnt at full power and even in a weakened state kisame managed to subdue gai and the rest of the shinobi that captured and then later go on to finish his prior mission and execute himself.


Now lets go to this sannin business. Gai at any gate less than the 8th can't beat none of the sannin. Gai's 8th gate tech is hirudora and it couldnt kill a weakened kisame so it surely cant kill a nearly immortal shinobi in tsunade nor Orochimaru and his 2 immortal transformations( The Dragon God & Great White Serpent ) both of which can only be beaten by being sealed or with great ocular powers such as sasuke's case. Tsunade would outlast 7th gate gai, and even the 8th gate wouldnt beat the immortal transformations of Orochimaru. Sm Jiraya on the other hand could compete with 7th gate gai or win if he can get off his sound genjutsu its a easy bet since the manga has shown us that gai 7th gate is fast no doubt but his speed and movements were visible when attacking Godara which means it isnt instant and well sm sensing align with sm reflexes has dodged faster ( ftg, and 3rd raikage ).



True kisame did own killer bee but here you go again using the abc logic that you said does not count in nv. You do know what the meaning of abc logic is right? If you don't then I will explain it. Tsunade's byakogu isn't going to help her in a fight? Really? Last i checked in a fight you take damage, so if she is in a fight she will take damage then what is the purpose of her byakogu??? Its rhetorical because everyone already knows albeit except you. 100 Healing jutsu would outlast Gai's 7th gate or maybe even the 8th gate is she could withstand the blows but she sure would be able to withstand the 7th gate long enough to outlast gai until he's lying on the ground in agonizing pain and then she would snap his neck. Should I provide manga scans of 7th gate gai not being able to move slightly after using the 7th gate or do you know like I know its the truth?



Kakashi did say Gai was better only when he realized gai was about to use the 8th gate and well since you said gai can win in the 7th or less vs tsunade I don't think mentioning a statement acknowledging 8th gate power is irrelevant.



I applaud you for making this thread and taking the time to do it but you would have never done this if not for gai's recent accomplishments or better yet you might just be trying to get under some folks skin, which I think would work on all the pro tsunade fans. I simply exploit falseness and stand for justice that is all.
