[Theory] why Madara was able to activate Susano without his eyes ..

All started when the Sage split his powers to his to sons :

1-the Elder son : who inherited sage's spiritual energy and eyes (Uchiha)

2-the younger son who inherited sage's body and phisical energy after hard training (Senju)

the sharingan

the sharingan be it standard or mangekyou has 2 aspects :

-A)as an eye : or better said as phisical part of the body : the sharinagan is needed for sight in the same way hands are needed to perform handseals

-B)as a source of spiritual energy : wich is the basis of the uchihas dojutsus..

thus the sharingan has 2 sources of powers :
-A)spiritual energy
-B) phisical energy

so according to these 2 divisions i'll creat the Susano theory :

-The susano requires the spiritual energy of the sharingan user, hence onces susano is awakned the user can activate it,even if he loses his eyes...best exemple is madara uchiha..

-However its impossible to controll Susano and guide it without sharingan = susano without sharingan is weak and deosn't last long !!..

-the Susano refelects the user's feelings and Emotions (spiritual state) ..the more once hatred increases, the more once' susano gets stronger..

-The Susano doesn't emerge from the sharingan itself, but it rather surrounds the user..

-tsukoyomi requires both of spiritual energy+ the presence of sharingan as being phisical part of the body...the act of creating the illusion or Genjutsu comes from the spiritual energy, but the phisical contact is needed between the tsukoyomi caster and the victim...

-izanami : tough Izanami is high class genjutsu,but it depends a lot on the phisical function of sharingan wich is the ability to record things...

-the copycat abilities are impossible without having sharingan !!

-thats why a non-uchiha member kakashi was called a copycat ninja...but the sharingan itself was equiped with this ability rather then the user.......and thats why the same copycat ninja kakashi fell victim to itachi's tsukoyomi,becuz of the absence of spiritual energy....


-in chapter 658 when Madara went blind, he still had spiritual energy of the sharingan wich allowed him to awaken susano , but he lost its phisical abilities like sight ...

-But if the sharingan powers comes from spiritual energy then what explains the existence of phisical energy in the sharingan??

-as part of the body the sharingan has its phisical energy wich is in my opinion A SENJU THINGY !!!!!

-Banbutsu Sozo is a forbidden jutsu used by hagoromi to divid juubi into 9 tailed beasts...by using spiritual energy and his imaginanation (uchiha powers) the sage created the shape of the bijuus , and from the phisical energy (senju powers) the sage breathed life into them...

-that also explains why some non-uchiha members can use some powers of uchiha like genjutsu...and why uchiha madara has unique body where its secrets are engraved in the uchiha stone,despite madara being non-senju member..

-the reall uchiha is the one who master spiritual thechniques of the sharingan like susano, thats why awakening susano is considered a rarity amongst the uchiha clan..

-the uchiha is an uchiha becuz of his strong chakra and spiritual energy and not becuz of his sharingan..and madara mastered a high level of sharingan usage called :The art of using sharingan powers without sharingan itself !!

-befor chapter 647,Sasuke's susano had no legs despite him possessing EMS..thats becuz the susano's true form depends on the spiritual state of the user..

It has been stated that the Susano'o can only be used if one activates the Mangekyo in both eyes, which could infer that it is possible to use Susano'o without possessing the eyes, had they been already activated, and I like your background theory. +rep for you

It basically means that even when his eyes aren't in his sockets, he is mentally connected to them and is able to use some of their powers.

now i'm also sure that for example the susano is indeed only achievable by those that have attained the mangekyo sharingan BUT that might just be because before you got that far, there is simply no way to get a connection with said susano(whatever that connection might be, it suggests to be somewhat spiritual of nature but you cant possibly predict that without utter luck as the narutoverse uses several religions for its "spirituallity").

Its never been stated that to use Susanoo you have you have both MS activated, only to awaken Susanoo you need both MS and tsu/amat. Its been stated the stress it puts in the users body and how the uchihas power lies in its brain it can be assumed its a "body" technique and not a "eye" technique.

It is still a technique created using spiritual chakra an imagination. Which is why its logical to say that the Uchiha's powers lay in their brains, and not their eyes.
