Kaguya's appearance is clearly not that of a normal human. The fact that she came from a 'faraway land to eat the fruit' makes her origins suspicious. To me, it sounds like a more powerful being observing another world and determining something of great importance being there. Whatever her origin, she essentially became a god once she ate the fruit and took dominion over the world.

When it comes to her appearance specifically, she has very prominent horns:

Her son also has horns and while not as prominent, they are still very distinct:

Its obvious that the horns were inherited genetically, but a much lesser version. Possibly explaining why his horns are so much smaller is simple. Its like a black and white couple having a baby, the baby will be half black. In this case, it is very possible that Kaguya married a pure human, and her offspring were essentially half deity, or demi-gods. If she was of non-human origin, then her offspring with a pure human might result in an appearance similar what we see in the sage. Again, whether you believe she was an actual inter-stellar alien is up to you, but the fact is she had essentially God-like powers.

In modern culture, we often associate aliens with Godly creatures or higher beings. A simple example is the movie Thor. Thor is an alien yet considered a god among many cultures. The 2 essentially become one and the same. My point here is that believing in a higher intelligence, deity-like, alien is not an uncommon thing. Not believing in some sort of life outside our planet is actually extremely naïve, considering how many millions of planets there are out there. Now I'm getting into ancient alien territory which wasn't my ultimate goal, but I think it helps drive the point home.

To summarize, Kaguya's appearance is far from normal and has very prominent horns. The fact that her son had so much smaller horns can be explained by her marrying a pure human, thus creating a demi-god or half alien (whatever you would prefer). Her fixation on the fruit actually could help classify her as a superior minded, inter-stellar being observing our planet from afar. Perhaps other individuals of her race knew about our planet as well. Perhaps there was even a rule on their planet that FORBID THEM from coming to our planet. This could make Kaguya an outcast that was banished from her planet. This may explain her actions on this planet and the fact that she stayed.

I don't want to step on any toes with this thread and don't want to get into the religious side (I am a Christian btw), but I am simply bringing up the possibility she could be an inter-stellar visitor. I did my best to back it up with more than just the Sage's suspicious statements. I simply find this idea to fall right in line with the modern thoughts and discussions on aliens/gods. Considering there is the possibility that Gods of cultural lore could very well have been aliens makes this possibility all the greater. Thoughts, comments, concerns, suggestions? No rage please!

I wonder about the whole alien concept... Wasn't Kaguya a princess before eating the fruit? I just find it doubtful that people allowed her to be a princess if she came from somewhere else.

I do agree on the rest however, Kaguya definitely gained Godly powers and her appearance is proof of that. With the Sage being was essentially seems to be a half-born Godly being/human being, he can definitely be considered a demi-god and his two sons would simply be less demi-god than he is.

Nice thread bro :) what I find doubtful about kaguya being an alien is that,

if she was naturally an alien, why would she want to eat a fruit to stop wars??? shouldn't she have the power to end wars, especially a war between humans,

2, it said she is human, Madara said she was the first Human, some translation states person though,

She would have eaten the fruit not to stop wars and make peace, but to dominate the world. She proved her power by being stronger than anyone else, thus people would fear her.

As to that translation, I think its a false one. Lets compare Narutobase to ***********:

As you can see, *********** translates it as the SON being the first person to wield chakra, its not stating that Kaguya was a human, rather her son was a human who used chakra.

You're misinterpreting it. She is in fact the first person able to wield chakra. It says that by eating the fruit the first person was born (not literally) able to use chakra.
And after that it says that a child was born from her, who ALSO had that power.
Read it again, and hopefully you'll see what I mean.

Ahhh yes I see what you mean. Its simply unfortunate that that line shares the panel with the child, but yes I get it, its referring to her being the first person in existence able to use chakra (born meaning gained that power and was renewed). However, this was Madara's interpretation of it, he could be wrong about her being a person.

Man, I hope kishi doesn't pull off this dbz BS :|

OT, I highly doubt that. The fruit could've altered her body and given her those horns...
Thing is, when Obito and Madara became jins, they took on a form similar to the Sage NOT HIS MOTHER. If the mother's appearance is a result of the fruit, than her horns would not be as large because that is the trend of So6P's. Its logical to assume that form was unique to her and she passed that down to her children. Since the children shared her DNA and were tainted by the juubi genetically, their form in the one shared by current jins.

Nice theory, but I think you are wrong. I believe the horns come from the fruit and/or Juubi. Notice how Hagoromo and his twin did not have horns at birth? Hagoromo is shown with horns only after he became the Jinchuuriki of the Juubi. I believe she wore a decoration that was like bunny ears, and when she ate the fruit, she grew very similar horns. I think the fact that Hagoromo didn't believe that her origins were important means that she was just a human. Also he was offended when naruto thought that he was an alien, so thats another point, too.

Thinking the horns should be there at birth is simply an assumption. The horns could grow in at a young age or could grow in during puberty or something. Them not being present as a newborn does not guarantee they won't grow in later.

So you think her horns are fake but she grew smaller horns as a result of eating the fruit? -_- Surely it makes more sense that her horns are genetic and her demi-god sons inherited only half her DNA, thus horns that were much smaller in size.

Him being offended by the Alien statement could be him reacting in anger to Naruto guessing the truth.
