Did Madara just confirm that Gai matches SM Hashirama?

So it's interesting to know that the taijutsu alone bests most of the current top10.
Madara isn't the type who says something without reason. Since he enjoyed this fight he actually admits that Gai is stronger than his past.

At that time the only man that could defeat him was Hashirama forced to his limits, i.e. SM...
basically Gai > VoTE Madara(EMS + 100% Kyuubi).

It's amazing that even without help Gai can damage the Juubi's Jinchuuriki, any other form of Madara would be obliterated.

In sheer power during the last minutes before his death, yes, Gai is close to Hashirama, but don't forget that Hashirama doesn't need a forbidden technique that kills him to get that strong. Still, it's prety incredible.

I think the main reason Madara took such a beatdown by Gai is that he simply underestimated the power of the 8th gate. But I kind of agree. that Gai could pull of a serious hurting to VOTE MADARA....But I'm not so sure how well 8th gate would hold up against Perfect Susanoo and Susanoo armored Kyuubi.

that attack was the combination of Strongest techniques FTG , Kamui , 8 gate.

if minato didn't saved Gai that time then the situation would be different now

If Madara used Limbo hengoku or shinra tensei techniques then 8th Gate Gai would be dead now. U_U

I am not claiming that 8th Gate Gai is weak but i want to say that 8th Gate Gai is not at Juubi jin madara U_U

Gai can defeat any form of madara except juubi jin.

8th gate Gai doesn't win nor lose a battle. Minato's RDS would apply here as well. The techniques are a double edged sword.

By your logic you are implying that Gai and Minato > Anyone except Ten Tails Madara.
