Dude, He didn't have the time for that timing where he switches and contacts his other clones to use the elements against other elements... He just had to protect the others not hurting Spiral Zetsu and that monster. Besides, someone as Hiruzen doesn't stand a chance even he did hit that monster.

If Hiruzen was able to get in close range he could do the same thing with Enma. If you really think about it, it was Hiruzen's protection of the SA that allowed Karin to show her feat.

Then people would have been downplaying Hiruzen by saying he had to use attacks of the opposite element to counter the Buddha. In this way, we see Hiruzen's mastery over the elements by perfectly countering a technique with the same technique and he still stopped the attack so I see nothing wrong with this.

Clearly kishi created the situation to show how powerful hiruzen really is. If you carefully look at the scale in which his jutsu are used, they were 20-40x bigger than hiruzen himself. The fact that a single hiruzen had chakra strength to match a hashirama cell enhanced, senjutsu chakra enhance giant buddah is incredible..

Instead of searching for the negatives you should check out the positives in that situation.

Hiruzen is the only shinobi ever seen or mentioned.. HELL, EVEN CREATED, that can use all 5 elements without any form of doujutsu or KKG.. That alone is reason enough to be referred to as God Of Shinobi!!!

So Hiruzen can make 4 Shadow Clones and do 5 different Techniques simultaneously, but can't remember which Element destroys what?

"Hiruzen countered it so it didn't matter"

What if it did matter? what if the Buddha overpowered Hiruzen, I'd bet that many people would jump off the Hiruzen bandwagon, and those left behind would scream "Its an @sspull because Kishi didn't make Hiruzen attack according to weaknesses!"

At this point, the Hiruzen fanboys are insulting Hiruzen more than the "haters"
