Kid Kakashi was taking on jonin leveled ninja, who were even impressed by his speed pre-Sharingan. (refer to the 3rd great ninja war). Genma claimed Sasuke achieved chuunin status. The hardest opponent Sasuke went up against up to this point is CE Gaara who's borderline jonin.

9 Years old Jonin Kakashi was blitzing and fighting on par with elite jonins , while Sasuke was struggling in the chunin exams . Feats and portrayal shows that kid Kakashi is stronger then kid Sasuke by a fair margin . and if we changa that Kakashi to the cold blooded version after Rin s death then this would be the biggest curb stomp ever

Sasuke takes this comfortably. Jounin rank is hardly meaningful when it was stressed at points in the manga during times of war ranks are pushed. Kakashi was the genius at the time so him advancing rank so fast makes sense. Sasuke probably would of done the same around the time. Sasuke was as fast as lee without weights at that time. We are unaware of Kakashis speed training but its almost safe to assume by the rigurous training Lee went through Kakashi at the time wasn't as fast. Given the fact Sasuke has sharigan now it's almost a curb stomp in a taijutsu battle.

If Kakashi pulls out chidori he gets sidestepped kunai to the throat or chidori'd back
With sharigan and being a genius as he is, Sasuke will be the better analyzer and has the best chances of winning. Sasuke med-high diff.

You're referring to the Sasuke right after the land of waves arc. This is CE Sasuke that fought Gaara.

This Sasuke already matched Lee's speed + has sharingan.

Of course I still give this to Kakashi.

Kakashi lacks the stamina and skill repertoire. Sasuke has a much greater advantage in Chakra reserves, Katon attacks, and Shuriken-Jutsu. He has better speed feats as well.

Sasuke out-sped Orochimaru in his manuver. I doubt this nameless Jounin matches Haku as well, who was said to be more dangerous as well. Sasuke completely outsped him without his Ice Mirrors Technique and continued to elude the stab from the needles on his specific points when he was using it. Not to mention his feats against gaara, who was partially transformed, who was only able to overpower him as he got run out of Chakra and his Chidori disappeared and his CS took over paralyzing him.

Now, unless that nameless Jounin - based on the assumption that rank is everything - beats all these guys for a fact, then you are obviously shouldering a weak argument here. Not to mention as Dante showed, he couldn't even sense the Jounin, when Sasuke has shown to react to opponents who he didn't know where behind him.

Every shinobi uses body flicker or some sort of shunshin. It was never noted that this speed was strictly footspeed. Why does it sound like Kakashi supporters are making this up as they go along. The only reason Kakashi ranked up so fast was because of war. Yes he is a genius but he couldn't lead Obito and Rin without getting one of them almost killed. You guys are overhyping him.
