How would Pa toad know Minato as well as he knew Jiraiya? Obviously he had to have met him to even see Minato in Naruto and then compare him to him. Minato was Jiraiya's student since he was a genin and he favored Minato, same reasons why I said he had to of had SM back when Pein arc happened.



Well Kishi only have the edo's act as supporters, he's not going to have them fight and do major damage or finishing blows like that. Have you seen Tobirama use Edo tensei? Why not? It's a summoning jutsus and Hanzo, Hiruzen and Hashirama all summoned things so why not Tobirama? Why doesn't Hashirama used water or earth jutsus that make up wood jutsu? Why didn't Tobirama use that soul thing he wanted to use on Sasuke on Naruto who went down first? Why don't Tobirama use more water jutsus? Where was Hiruzen most of Juubito's fight? See what I mean? I can go on and on about that Edo Hokages but at the end of the day, they all acted as mere supporters for Naruto and Sasuke.

. How would Pa toad, a toad Sage who didn't even show himself to Naruto until he wanted to train Naruto even though Naruto was Jiraiya's student for three years at the very least. Minato was with Jiraiya since he was a genin and was Jiraiya's favorite student.

How is he a failure of a father, he love his son and thinks nothing but the best of Naruto where as Sasuke's dad ignored Sasuke in favor for Itachi. Minato sacrificed his life not only to give Naruto yang Kurama (he had faith Naruto can bare it and master it's power) but was also thinking of the wellness of his village as the Hokage and didn't want Kurama to later be revived without a host as well as not wanting to hurt the balance of power which was created by Hashirama as he gave other Bijuus away.

In the war Kishi made all of the Hokages act as nothing more than supporters

The reason Pa knew Minato is because he signed the contract for summoning toads.But nowhere was it forshadowed that Minata had SM.

He could have, You have to remember that at the time naruto never met his dad and didn't know the fourth has his father. So pa mentioning minato wouldn't have had relavence to naruto.

Also Minato was long dead, and Jiraiya had just died recently, his name holds more relevance while Minato's holds little.

He did. But Frog Sage Mode isn't a requirement for being the Child of Prophecy. As the scan show's above Pa only mentioned Jiraiya. He didn't need to throw out Minato's name, but you would think he would at least mention that the Yondinme trained here as well.

OP is right. Minato shouldn't have Sage Mode...He shouldn't have KCM IMO either.




ON the contrary. It has a huge relavence to Naruto. Naruto Trained hard on Rasengan after Jiraiya mentioned it was a jutsu created by the 4th Hokage. Jiraiya didn't throw out Minato's name but he did mention it to Naruto which fueled his determination to master it. The same should have gone with Sage Mode.

I am just saying that, J - Man saw Minato as child if prophecy , So he might want that Minato should learn SM and may have told this about Toads. So its highley possible that toads taught him, Pa didn't mention Minato it dosen't mean that he didn't teach him

Understand that Minato isn't a failure..he's simply no match for madara..minato has done considerably well if you look back at everything he's done but it's just clear that madara is way out of his league..no one is a match for him in the whole of the series..don't even know if it's possible to defeat him yet

And do you realize what this guy was implicating? His reason for thinking Minato's SM is an a-pull is because Fukasaku did not mention him as one of the ones that could use SM. This isn't logical since there has been SM users in the past. Fukasaku was obviously talking about Jiraya because he's the only one Naruto knew about who had SM potential.

Also, Fukasaku, upon seeing SM Naruto confront pain said that he's surpassed his predecessors. Tsunade and the toads saw an image of Jiraya and Minato when he said that. Now this part's important. Fukasaku was shocked when Naruto used ransenshuriken, stating he never saw it before. This means that Naruto improving on ransenshuriken wasn't what he was reffering to. This strongly implied that Naruto in some way, was better at SM than Minato.

I get what you are saying. And it is now obvious that Minato did indeed trainin at Mt Myoboku. It wouldn't have been such an A**Pull if it hadn't been introduced the way it was. Maybe before Minato went all KCM when he 1st got to the battlefield his Sage Mode should have been introduced. This would have been a far more plausible and effective way to introduce it to us. Instead, without any warning, he just suddenly was:

1) Able to gather Senjutsu Chakra without standing still.

2.)used it for an attact that didn't even connect to the right target.

Super Fail.

But I get what you are trying to say. Unfortunatily Minato's character has been forever ruined for me since he was brought back.

Here we see Hashirama get struck by a mindless Juubito. Hashirama's body was completely fodderized!

However in the recent chapter, Minato took a direct roundhouse kick from a superior Juubi Jinchuriki.

Notice the difference between the state that Hashirama was in after being struck by Obito and Minato's state after being struck by Madara.

This can only mean that SM Minato's durability > Hashirama. U_U
