The fact that Minato always fails makes him a hated charachter.
He was risking lives with going in like that, what if Madara decided to kick that rasengan
to Naruto, that would be the end of Naruto shipuuden.

If minato didn't go in Kakashi would be able to use Kamui on Obito.

I know, I know. Although I'd say whenever it comes to MS vs MS, Itachi solos any other Uchiha. They have legit reasons for thinking SM is an a-pull, however, it's not since it was foreshadowed. That makes it more of a plot hole rather than an a-pull. People tend to forget that even pre-juubi Madara owned Tobirama in a similar situation.
