NV would win, they can genjutsu soldiers into fighting for them using those damned uchiha and gain all relevant info needed using the ino clans mind control/reading and they also have that pesky transformation jutsu that would reak all sorts of havoc among our moral. Obito could have the US nuke itself. Ninja are also fast enough the fight us using melee weapons while we have guns, but once the military gets infiltrated by genjutsu'd soldiers it's only a matter of time, but the biggest danger lies in having all our weapons turned against us which would most likely be the case.

Numb body doesnt allow that, but they would have to be connected to the grid as electrocution has to be constant.

They'll win, they can easily infiltrate us using genjutsu and the transformation jutsu and once they get to the top dogs who plan everything and read their minds, it's over. Even if it's not just the us, I've no doubt in my mind that once they do topple that mountain, which they could, everywhere else is just a matter of time. they can infiltrate us the same way the white zetsu's infiltrated the SA, only we'll have no way to distinguish between friend and foe. and once a general or two is taken and has his mind read of all military secrets, there nothing anyone can do. Izanagi can bring back whole platoons of annihilated ninja, and Rinnegan would just friggin destroy pretty much anything it comes across, laser cannons beat out almost any type of weapon, and the fact remains that the Ino clan can learn how to use all of our military technology, along with anyone with access to the human path. NV would destroy the planet if they declared war on us.
Here is what i think.
With edos.
Nv soloes. Military has no way to defeat a army of undead ninjas. Especially if the ninjas are on a scale of hokage level.
Without edos.
Military wins due to haveing better range, and superior weapons and numbers.(naruto verse has approx 150,000 ninjas(if you include zetsua(the total amount of ninjas+zetsus before the war started)) There are probably at least 100,000,000 soldiers in militaries around the world(proably much more).
So unless you think that every ninja(includeing zetsus) can take AT LEAST 100 soldiers with modern weapons EACH, nv loses.(I think it is remotely possible for NV to be able to beat any nation 1v1(with things like juubi jins, and bijuus.( again only remotely possible. I think they could do some serious damage with guerilla warfare)
Just my opinion on. Not only do most militaries have superior weapons, they also have superior numbers as well.
edit. In a war like the ninja war, without edos i think military wins. But narutoverse has many ways of toppleing the military(infiltration etc) Not to mention that they could learn to use the militaries weapons(and perhaps even combine them with ninjutsu)

Yeah they could basically swoop in, destroy/flood/incinerate the entire landscape, and then disappear without a trace using ftg/kamui, NV literally has almost 0 competition with the real world if every single entity in it is working together. nukes would be seen and transported using the s/t barrier and honestly wtf can anyone do against genjutsu? that shit would wreck us, we'd spend all day fighting only to find out we just murdered our brothers while the shinobi just watched. I don't know how anyone in their right mind can sit there and say we'd win a war against NV, what manga have you been reading?
