The problem is that kishi made madara,obito, and the Juubi too strong, and on the other hand he made the Gokage, and the SA too weak!

I honestly was disappointed with A & Mei. The SA are mostly fodder that they are almost can do nothing!

When the Juubi came it also was too strong that it's not logical for only Naruto to be able to defeat it along side madara & obito! So, bringing back the Hokages did make things more logical, and I agree with you that kishi handled them badly.

Tobirama turned out to be a copy fro Minato, Hiruzen did not do that all much. Hashirama was completely pathetic in the war.

Madara & Hashi's power does not make any sense at all. Kishi should have made the Gokage defeat madara, and Naruto deal with obito. That's would have been good enough, or at least makes some powerful shinobi from the other villages and thus, making the SA powerful enough.

Anyway, that has already been done. U_U

You presented good evidence to back your opinion, but you seem to have a very pessimistic view of the Hokages. Obviously they were fan service, but I really disagree on their practicality in the current battle. The SA would've been absolutely demolished w/o the Hokages.

The only other plot device that would have saved them other than the Hokages would have been power-ups, and I think we've had enough of those.

Is that the SA would be dead without them, as if Kishi isn't a good enough writer to think up any other solution. Hell it was the writer who decided to make madara/Obito so strong in the first place. So don't give me that.

Also neither Obito or Madara were defeated by Hokage, Hiruzens been hiding, Hashiramas been play-fighting with Madara (clearly doing nothing) and Minato and Tobirama did nothing but play tag with Obito for a few months whilst showing off. Nothing advanced plot-wise in those months with Naruto/Sasuke/Tobirama/Minato just hype and people escaping Obito only to be trapped again at the end of the chapter.

We haven't Guy go full 8 Gates, Kitsuchi and the other generals on the offensive, Bee, Oro, the 5 actual Kage and many more. I refuse to

Im glad the all showed up because to be honest even regular shinobi would've ended up same ways as the 4 previous hokage. Fills in unanswered plot stuff? Other than Hashirama telling his own story (which we already knew) and summarising Sasuke's decision (nothing new in there) they have done nothing but fight, show off feats and Minato has even gotten some character interaction. The annoying thing for me though is that none of it is essential. None of it was needed which basically just makes it padding. And yeah, that's right- the arrival of the Hokage didn't impact Madara at all, we would've easily have come to the same conclusion.

Here's a question. If Kishimoto was planning to make the final fight into a three-parter (End of the War Arc/10 Tails Revival/Madara's Return) why didn't he save the Hokage for this arc? The one where Madara comes into the limelight? The existing characters could've easily and satisfyingly defeated Obito and that's STILL a lot of characters- but it would've been more diverse for sure without blowing his load with the lucklustre Hokage so early on against a fairly tame and boring part of the fight and an enemy they don't know.

Totally agree, but honestly? Guy is like a year too late for me. There was a perfect time and place for this and that was when Neji died, when Kakashi went into the Kamui Dimension or any time before the Hokage showed up. Why didn't the existing side characters who clearly have stuff to show done first? Killer Bee, Kakashi and Guy were essential to show in the previous arc and now it just feels too late for all of this. Hell, I wanted all three of them to have awesome deaths.

It seems too little too late for me, even if I am crazy excited for full 8 Gates.
