Also this (maybe my personal bias): Naruto saying Minato came in "right in time". Dafuq? Didn't Neji die less than half hour ago? İt gives a bad taste that all those people would be Alive if Edo bunch got revieved earlier. Human life gets portraytad really cheap in this manga unless it belongs to holy wanked Naruto.

If it actually made him stronger than Madara and he could control all 4 of them then yeah it could still potentially work but they're not, it's been proven that the Hokage are just as helpless as everyone else on the battlefield.

Even though I don't actually hate any of the Hokage, I agree with points 1 and 2. I didn't mind them appearing at first, as I really wanted Minato to have more depth as a character himself, but the Hokage basically took over the manga. Some characters also suddenly disappeared and appeared between several chapters. The battlefield is simply too crowded.

Is the current generation so incompetent that they are in need of the previous generations? That's the main reason why I don't want the Hokage around anymore.

I agree to the extent even though Tobirama is my favorite Hokage, I felt that they need to stay out of their business, cause the one who's fighting are the Shinobi Aliiance.

Take a look how pathetic these so called "5 Great Nations", the only one who's putting up the fight are the Konoha Shinobi mainly the Uchicha, Senju, and Uzamaki clans, the rest are merely fodders.

Just look what happened to Neji, his death got trolled just so that it gives plot device to Naruto yet team Gai didn't do Sht, well only Lee only got 1 tiny amount of time to shine when he kicks Madara but that's it!!!

Konoha11 deserve some amount of spotlight, everyother Shinobi Alliance should just fight instead standing there doing nothing!

I'm so glad Madara put down Hashi & Tobi & I hope He does the same with Minato & Hype , hopefully for good too , Kishi didn't needed to make Madara ridiculously powerful in the first place.

You people keep treating this as a character's choice. It doesn't matter what the Kage did, it matters what Kishi did. Kishi could have swung his story a dozen ways without any Kage interference.

Hell, Jiraiya could have told a story with a similar moral to it.

The problem is that kishi made madara,obito, and the Juubi too strong, and on the other hand he made the Gokage, and the SA too weak!

I honestly was disappointed with A & Mei. The SA are mostly fodder that they are almost can do nothing!

When the Juubi came it also was too strong that it's not logical for only Naruto to be able to defeat it along side madara & obito! So, bringing back the Hokages did make things more logical, and I agree with you that kishi handled them badly.

Tobirama turned out to be a copy fro Minato, Hiruzen did not do that all much. Hashirama was completely pathetic in the war.

Madara & Hashi's power does not make any sense at all. Kishi should have made the Gokage defeat madara, and Naruto deal with obito. That's would have been good enough, or at least makes some powerful shinobi from the other villages and thus, making the SA powerful enough.

Anyway, that has already been done. U_U
