1. Jiraiya taught Pain
2. Jiraiya taught Minato which lead to Obito
3. Refuse to be hokage
4. Wasn't around to stop 9 tails attack on the village
5. Could not stop Orchimaru when he attacked the village or when he left
6. Who did he beat in a battle? ( lost to hanzo and pain)

Jman taught Naruto, was was a child of Minato.
jman collected intel on Pain, the only person to ever destroy the leaf village.

1. nagato revived his victims. (village still destroyed , jin still dead due to him being manipulated) so touchè
2. well if you're using that logic this all goes back to tobirama, who taught hiruzen who taught jman.
3. he felt he wasn't fit, and you obviously agree (see your own number 6)
4. there were TWO kage there, tends to create a feeling of security in leaving.
5. again, that goes back to hiruzen.
**jiraiya taught naruto, he shall be redeemed.
EDIT: i'd say hiruzen. he could've stopped oro when he had the chance. been more stern than he was, which would've prevented danzo having to be and ordering itachi to do what he did i guess.

No he's not, Nagato took Jiraiya's teachings and used them for the wrong reason.
He also greatly misinterpreted everything he heard about peace, and how Jiraiya wanted people to feel each others pain.
He was terribly misguided on his own merits, and he was also brainwashed to an extent by Obito.

They allowed Orochimaru to become what he is today.
They are in part, responsible for forging the conditions to which Itachi had to make the decisions he made.
And as a result of these things they are partial responsible for Sasuke defecting from the village and Sasuke's dogma in the Kages summit.
Obito's path towards evil was the boulder's fault. XDXDXD

1) because of him being conceived his parents had to sacrifice themselves
2) because of he the whole village were angry as he wasnt able to control the chakra of kuruma
3) he couldn't stop sasuke which led to him finding out the truth about itachi and seeking revenge on the leaf village
