I think you need a uchiha body, or even the original owner of the eyes body to awaken susanoo.. and as far as i'm concerned obito's susanoo is his slip through stuff, that's his ultimate defense that doesn't use eyes but the body.

obito awoke MS in both eyes.. he's still connected to kakashi's eye.
