"One Shot", he said u__u
You can apply for 2 fanfic contests with this thing man >_>

Only read the first post so far but I can say that I enjoyed reading your fanfic =D I like how there's a mix of characters from different places such as Zorro and Zelda. Haven't played any of these Zelda games but I have an idea of the universe so it was easier to picture the world of your fanfic.

Well I'll be reading the 2nd post tomorrow :p

Haha, well it being a one-shot would do no good if it was five sentences long now would it  ;)

Thanks man, I always try to make things as understandable as they can be, and especially with this project, where I had to keep in mind both people that are familiar with The Legend of Zelda franchise and those who are completely new to it, and therefore, I had to write it in a way so that I could tell the story to the people who doesn't know much about the Series to begin with as well.

Keep in mind that each of the "parts" of this one-shot is not equally long. I think the next one is close to the first post, while the third one is the shortest one of them all ;)

I has to be, considering it is a one-shot O__o xP If not, I wouldn't have been able to tell the whole tale, haha.
Thanks =) Well I suppose it both has it ups and downs, and only time will tell if people will end up liking it or not :p

I understand since its one-shot it has to be long but I think its longer than an average one-shot I used to read.
Its a good story, you got positive comments so far =)

It might be I suppose, but I really had a big story to tell and I was in fact considering making it longer, so in the end I figured this length was good enough for the story I had to tell. Personally I don't really think this is long for a One-Shot as I could have made a 6-8 chapters long FF out of it instead if I wanted to, but for most parts that might just be me, haha=P

Thanks =) You could probably say that, but it can always get better ;)

Let me start off by saying I’m quite surprised you decided to do a FF based off of Zelda. Perhaps you mentioned in those posts about future works but I of course cannot remember. And its a one shot of all things-this will definitely be interesting and the funny thing is I’ve never played a Zelda game in my life XD I have heard of it of course and I’ve seen my younger brother played a couple games so at least I’m a little familiar with it. Nice song btw as it somehow fit the Zelda theme lol

Okay, now I see that Zorro has been thrown into the mix lol This is becoming even more interesting. Its nice that the chapter started out with some action fairly early on. This Queen definitely has guts lol The youthful Link doesn’t stay far behind from the Queen either in boldness. I liked how Zorro entered the fray and made the bandit leader look pathetic XD I had a feeling that Sahasrahla might’ve died. I didn’t think Agahnim would’ve died as well as his rage seemed to be driving him. It’s too bad about Zorro choosing to retire. I thought a timeskip would happen eventually. Impa using that instrumental tool to open a doorway was cool. I liked the brief insight on the group of men and woman lol This mystery prisoner seems like he could be hiding something. I had a feeling death would follow this group and I thought Nexus would’ve been the first given his circumstance at the time but surprisingly he wasn’t. It was interesting to see Nexus’ reaction to Makar’s death as he was highly emotional and proved to be a compassionate man. So perhaps I was wrong about this Diego character as he complied with his words. That was an interesting ending to the group’s dilemma and now four months have passed. I believe that in every Zelda game, Link and the princess never hook up or at least what I know from my brother lol And if that’s true then you’re doing something interesting by pushing them together as it definitely looks like that how it should be anyways. I liked how their incomplete triangle marking reacted via touch. It amusing how “Diego” continues to mouth out cryptic comments lol That Zelda/Link situation in the tent was awkward to say the least. I thought Nexus would perhaps be discreet about his brother’s night with Zelda. I had been wondering for some time if Nexus being Link’s brother would also acquire some sort of power and since he is also the leader of Zelda’s army. The Zelda/Link dance was nicely detailed and liked the music you chose ;) Nice, I love the whip type weapon-always had and its cool that it will play a role =D Wow, the monster tribe army is pretty fierce looking. I think my bro told me that Zelda possessed magical abilities but also knowing how to wield a sword as well is awesome. I didn’t think that she would join him in the actual fight and so that was interesting. I love bow and arrows as well and so to see you make use of it in your story was nice!!! ^^ Man, Ganondorf really has it in for Zelda lol I suppose its safe to say that Nexus wouldn’t be getting a power-up. I liked that Diego appeared with much needed reinforcements :) I’m glad that you also summed up an ending for Diego and this was a great one shot. I’m not a fan of the Zelda series but I you did a fantastic job pulling off story based off of it! ^^

Fun Facts & Author's Note:
I: It is always nice and refreshing to start anew or switch things up now and then-kudos to you for doing a great job ;)

3: Yes I thought it was the longest and it took me forever to be able to completely read it XD

4: Ah, the Nexus name. I did find it a little peculiar and thanks for sharing lol

5: I’ll definitely have to take a look at that Timeline thread :)

Haha, well to start of with, when I first had the idea of including the Master Sword in my The Legendary Sage of Konoha Series, I always had in mind that it would be fun to write a The Legend of Zelda FanFic. Truth been told, since that was kind of too "distant" and vague at that point, I figured I would at least try and Incorporate some of its elements into my existing work, and that is where it all began basically. One thing that was on my mind back then was the shrouded view of the Sage of Six Paths, as not much was known about him back then. I knew for one thing that I wanted to have him make an appearance, so I had to do some outside the box thinking. At first I remembered one of the first pics revealed of him, holding a staff and a sword fighting the Juubi, and it was here the idea of making that sword the Master Sword came from. As the thought grew from and idea to an actual plan, I had to start forming my notes and my story for Naruto's battle with the Sage, and it was from this all new approach that I got the idea to write a FanFic of the SoSP himself, and due to this, I decided to reveal a ton of that said story through the Juubi and the Sage himself throughout The Legendary Sage of Konoha Returns. For it all to work, I had to make a decent story, and due to how I laid it out about the Sage finding the Master Sword and how it eventually ended up in Naruto's possession, the idea of a Master Timeline started to form. At first, I thought of also finding a way to make the sword play a part in my upcoming Three Kingdoms work (as briefly shown in my triple preview thread), and like before, I had to give a background story for the Master Sword there as well. And of course, from there on and out, the idea of finally making a The Legend of Zelda FanFic (that eventually turned into a One-Shot) appeared.

Haha, well like I've stated before, I did try to write this One-Shot in a way to make it read-able for those who are unfamiliar with the Zelda universe as well, and I suppose you are one of those people indeed. To hear that it made sense, or at least enough sense for you to understand, make me believe that I did in fact manage to pull off what I set out to do, namely making this a read-able story.

Yes... The whole idea of throwing Zorro into the mix was in fact the final missing piece to make this story come through, as up until the point where that idea struck me, I didn't really have a "true" or should I say, real story to make. The Mask of Zorro, one of the movies that I've probably watched the most in my life, if not the most, was one big inspiration to make this happen. Not long ago, I decided to re-watch it again, together with its sequel, The Legend of Zorro, and it was after that, that my "Zorro" enthusiasm returned, as seen by my name change among other things, haha. And from there on, I decided to find a way to bring Zorro into the mix, and this was the result.

The first scene in this One-Shot is actually the first scene I came up with, alongside the end where Link thrusts the Master Sword into the head of Ganon. That first scene was probably the only idea I had for a possible Zelda fic for a very long time, and it was probably the only idea that made this eventually turn into a real project. Back then, I only had the idea of the Queen or the Princess being transported by horse and carrier, and that they were attacked, but as far as the actual plot went, I basically had no clue.
So in the end, I didn't start it of with a battle orientated scene just to make it interesting from the get-go, but because the idea of something Zelda based starting off at a high note had always been "dwelling" inside of me you could say.

You are indeed right, they never hook up, not to such a degree detailed in my story anyways, haha, although I always liked the idea, so that's one of the reasons to why I made it happen in my tale xP

I'm glad you liked this story bro, as you are by far the only one to give me an actual and detailed review ^_^ So thanks a bunch! =)
And I'll always be up for discussion if there are more aspects you want to go further into, hahaha xP ;D As for this reply, you probably don't have to reply to every parts of it if you don't feel like it. After all, I know you can be a busy man and that you have an own Original work/sequel to work on ;)

1: Indeed... Even though I've had my roller coaster ride regarding my spirit for writing my TLSoK Series, this project was on a high note from the very start. It had been a long time since I was this genuine fired up to write something, and I can only look back on how long it took me to actually get it done. By NB standards these days, where the views and comments have been high compared to what the standard is, I still would have wished for more regarding the effort and time I put into this, so I might actually try and take this project somewhere else when the time is right as well. We shall see indeed.

4: Haha, it is probably the only real fun fact of this whole note, but it is good to see someone actually both reading and making a comment out of it =p

5: You should. As of now though, depending on how NB will "progress" or continue to flow, I might actually decide to not go all the way with this Master Timeline project after all, at least not here. For one, I'll be releasing the Short Movie Series Finale for TLSoK next, and after that I'll be doing the Short Movie of The Sage of Six Paths before finally making a stand on whether to actually go through with my original work here at the Base or make my retirement. Seeing how things has gone for the last two years or so, I'm not really too positive regarding the possible future of my writing career here at the Base. I will finish my Naruto based works though, but depending on how well or bad this One-Shot will do someplace else when I get around to it, I might actually decide that it is time to try something new. Only the future will tell my friend ;)

First of all, I apologize for the extreme late reply.

That is some deep insight I wouldn’t have thought it branched that far back but it makes sense and it’s also interesting how you’ve decided to string along the Master Sword through your stories and you’re even thinking about doing it again with Three Kingdoms which is awesome-I’ve seen this done before with a mangaka team called Clamp who recurred certain characters in all of their manga! :)

Yes, you wrote this story in a way that fit both familiar and non-familiar readers with this series ;)

Wow, I’m just so amazed that the Zorro franchise was something so dear to you and I’m glad you incorporated it as I enjoyed both movies myself! =D

Again nice insight and congrats for filling in the gaps of the story.

Yeah, I thought so XD However, it just seems right that they’d end up together lol

You’re so very welcome and I’m glad to provide you with feedback!!! ^^ And thank you for being so considerate but it’s fine-I don’t mind replying back ;) Also, for mentioning about my fan fiction which has been put on hold for awhile now lol I do plan to pick it up eventually though :)

1 I completely understand as I‘ve felty the same way and you so deserve the recognition for a job wayyyyyyy well done ;)

4 XD

5 Wow, while I’m disappointed that you may not continue your work, I also do understand why and so I’ll back you up with whatever you choose and I’m happy to hear that at least you’ll finish your Naruto work here ;)

Haha, no worries my friend ;)

Oh really now, well I suppose that is a good thing then =p As far as the Master Sword goes in my The Legendary Sage of Konoha Series, I haven't really given it a real purpose yet, however, it will be important in the upcoming Series Finale ;D

Well yeah, luckily I was re-watching both movies just as I was about to make this One-Shot, so I had to find a way to make it all fit in, haha.

Good to hear. Once I'm done with the Series Finale and the One-Shot about the SoSP, I've actually been thinking of holding off my original work (at least for awhile longer if I don't decide to not go through with it that is) to try and make that Collaboration FF between us finally happen, haha, I bet it's about time, kind of now or never you know xP

The Series Finale you mean?? It's up next =p Don't know when I'll release it yet, but so far I'm about halfway through it I would guess. Due to time restrain while I'm on my military service, it's impossible to give an exact release date. I'm hoping that I might be able to pull it off by the end of March though, but I can't say for sure.

Haha, I understand, it's quite long after all.
