My computer shuts down on its own, this happens almost everytime I turn the computer on. It's been about 2 weeks since I last manually shut down my computer. I don't know what to do, please help if you can.

if you've got a desktop computer, open it up... and make sure that your RAM, Graphics Card and other components aren't loose... also make sure that ALL CABLES FROM YOUR POWER SUPPLY IS NOT LOOSE... while your at it, remove all the dust =)

if the RAM-Memory is loose, it could also make a beeping sound as well but take it off and just dust it off and put it back.
make sure your fans get power (if not, the computer will shut down on its own for safety reasons)
the fan should spin if it gets power.

if this doesn't help, let me know and we can discuss further - this is just step 1, it could be simple as that.

edit -
-It shuts down around 20-30 minutes after I turn it on.
I'm usually in the middle of a LoL game when it shuts down, but I play LoL a lot, I'm not sure if the shut down has anything to do with LoL, but it might be.
-I'm not sure, it's not really MY computer per say, it's my brothers but I use it a lot.
-I'm not sure if he has, I don't think so.
-No, it just blacks out, as if a plug has been pulled, but I've checked the plug a couple of times right after it shuts down, and it's firmly attached.
it sounds like overheating issues imo... check your fans and/or download SpeedFan or any other program that shows how warm your computer gets!

I'm sure all the components and the cables are attached properly, I've made sure of that a couple times in before in the past.

make sure again, and did you check the fans? it sounds like overheating to me!

^ this

unwanted shutdowns are in 90% of the cases overheated hardware, most likely cpu or graphic card

yes as i thought , most probably is the fans , tell me... does that becomes really "warm" when it shuts down? because if he does , then its the fans and you have to clean the dust :).

if the fan works, install SeedFan, and make sure your computer is not overheated... if it DOES GET OVERHEATED... buy another fan... perhaps some thermal compound on your cpu could work as well...
