My computer shuts down on its own, this happens almost everytime I turn the computer on. It's been about 2 weeks since I last manually shut down my computer. I don't know what to do, please help if you can.
Firstly, are you using a laptop or a desktop? That, I must get a answer to.My computer shuts down on its own, this happens almost everytime I turn the computer on. It's been about 2 weeks since I last manually shut down my computer. I don't know what to do, please help if you can.
Desktop.Yea. Is it a laptop or desktop?
it sounds like overheating issues imo... check your fans and/or download SpeedFan or any other program that shows how warm your computer gets!-It shuts down around 20-30 minutes after I turn it on.
I'm usually in the middle of a LoL game when it shuts down, but I play LoL a lot, I'm not sure if the shut down has anything to do with LoL, but it might be.
-I'm not sure, it's not really MY computer per say, it's my brothers but I use it a lot.
-I'm not sure if he has, I don't think so.
-No, it just blacks out, as if a plug has been pulled, but I've checked the plug a couple of times right after it shuts down, and it's firmly attached.
Yeah it makes that Windows sound.i too had a same prblem and i changed the fan as suggested... it did worked.. i think it's your fan.. do ur com sound when it is turned on??
I'm sure all the components and the cables are attached properly, I've made sure of that a couple times in before in the past.if you've got a desktop computer, open it up... and make sure that your RAM, Graphics Card and other components aren't loose... also make sure that ALL CABLES FROM YOUR POWER SUPPLY IS NOT LOOSE... while your at it, remove all the dust =)
if this doesn't help, let me know and we can discuss further - this is just step 1, it could be simple as that.
make sure again, and did you check the fans? it sounds like overheating to me!Yeah it makes that Windows sound.

In addition to this^^^if the fan works, install SeedFan, and make sure your computer is not overheated... if it DOES GET OVERHEATED... buy another fan... perhaps some thermal compound on your cpu could work as well...
exactly, that is thermal compoundIn addition to this^^^
Make sure that ur using this.
