The first 2/3rds of this chapter were a complete waste.
Obito is now one of my least favorite characters not just in this story but in general. He's on Bella Swan levels now. He lost the will he had for half of his life in one sitting. It is cliche and poorly written. Then he tries to do the same thing Pain did, making Pain's sacrifice and death in general cheap.
Seriously, why Sai? I thought it was as simple as putting a tag on someone. It doesn't require Sai. Minato or Tobirama could have teleported over there and ended it. Hashirama could have been handed two dozen of those tags when went off to fight Madara and ended it.
Also, Hashirama defeats Madara, seriously? I'm a fan of neither but really? One of the main themes of Naruto is that the rival can surpass his superior. Naruto did that with Sasuke. Lee might have done that with Neji. However, Madara can't do that with Hashirama. So many broken themes.
Where is Sasuke? I didn't even see him in the background. a shame. I was looking forward to Sasuke and Madara confrontation. As Obito was Naruto's dark parallel, Madara is Sasuke's darker parallel. This needs to happen eventually.
If the tailed beasts being extracted weakened Obito, why didn't Madara take over right then? Did he want to make it more dramatic by being defeated by Hashirama and nearly sealed while Obito is betraying him?
[edit: Gaara is no longer plot relevant. Why is here? It was nice but only plot relevant characters should be present in a chapter. (This is my problem with Sai being here.) Gaara's no where near the power level to defeat Madara. I guess Kishimoto wanted to be more repetitive with all of his befriend the tailed beasts themes]
good
Madara at the end. of course. It's one of the best moments in recent chapters. However, that doesn't quite make up for all of the above. Madara was awesome but he could have been more awesome.
Obito is gone, and has been replaced with Madara, who is living, doesn't have unlimited chakra, has no tailed beasts and has already been defeated by Hashirama alone, but will soon by facing Hashirama, Minato, Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi. I'm hopeful though.
I guess the break gave Kishimoto the time to make a great chapter! I loved every page from this chapter until the very end! My only question is why is Madara so eager to be alive? I mean isn't he more easily prone to defeat since he's alive. I wonder what's the catch here.
I enjoyed the out come of this chapter..The body switch I already expected it to go that route..Madara pulling his trump card in this chapter was like a finally moment.
Obito's purpose was to show what happens if Naruto were to forget about his friends even after they died. Obito failed because he was alone and Naruto having so many allies means he is less likely to fail.
5/5, one heck of a nice chapter, and I was spot on it's release date..
Pros-
1. Madara taking over Obito's body is something I was expecting from a while, Kishi has finally brought the pace this manga needed.:yeah:
2. I liked the way Shukaku and other bijuus are trying to help, they must have understood that Naruto is the one who is 'going to lead them on the right path', I hope Madara will soon become Juubi jin, or try to control them again.
3. I had tears in my eyes when Obito said that he won't be able to meet Rin on the other side, boy Obito left no stone upturned for his love for Rin ,and in the end..
Leaving this video for Obito fans.

Weird that Minato just stood there and did nothing. Also what does Madara really gain from having a mortal body compared to an immortal one. It's not like he can just suddenly seal all of the tailed beasts inside him without pulling what could potentially be the biggest ass pull of the series. 2/5
He is such a p*ssy, f*cking with my favorite character. I wanted you to face Obito as Jinchuuriki to get f*cked up. Naruto, kill this stupid ***** asap please
