Itachi can't kill any one in Tsukuyomi

This is true.

It is possible, if you experiance enough trauma that you can get killed. Tsukuyomi, is certainly capable of inflicting that amount of trauma. However, itachi may not have the chakra reserves to use tsukuyomi long enough to inflict enough trauma to kill someone. Also how strong the victim is mentally, also is a major factor.

It is possible that some people, would not be able to be killed by tsukuyomi. However tsukuyomi could probably kill a young kid/regular person.

Since tsukuyomi seems to be quite tasking on itachis already limited chakra pool, i do not think he could kill someone with a mental strength like kakashi, without either running out of chakra, or haveing larger reserves.(more chakra=longer tsukuyomi)

You are correct. Tsukuyomi is not a practical battle jutsu. Unless it is a single target close range battle. Then perhaps it would be effective. You are also incorrect. Tsukuyomi (the jutsu itself) is capable of killing someone. Enough stress on the mind can be deadly. However many times when the mind is stressed, it just shuts itself down to protect itself. So basically 9 times out of 10, the victim will go into a coma.

So this is basically what I think based off what I know about the mind and the jutsu. Its possible i could be completely wrong, but I dont think I am.

Ok there is a huge misconception among Itachi fans that Itachi can kill any person after trapping them in Genjutsu or Tsukuyomi. Well its pure bullshiittt.

Why???

1. first of all , genjutsu is trapping somebody mind in the casters illusion. so what ever happens inside victims mind is just pure feelings . so no harm done to body.
2.Genjutsu needs constant eye contact + huge concentration hence Itachi is always seen standing still , not moving an inch. During all Itachi's genjutsu moves , itachi is always standing still and not moving to perfect his control upon his victim.
3.If the caster closes his eyes or his opponent chakra level changes or if the victim is interfered by another person , then the genjutsu breaks. hence In most of Itachi's fight we see that the victim and caster is standing still without any response. so its basically all about torturing peoples and extracting intels rather than an offensive move.
4.A genjutsu of high caliber like tsukuyomi needs even more concentration so it can be casted for only few seconds. Druing this time there might be a lot of interference that might disrupt the smooth chakra flow like, blood dripping off eyes, general movement of body that can disrupt chakra flow or 3rd person interference.
This is the main reason a genjutsu user always fight in a team. so that other peoples can watch their back when they are most vonurable.
5.During Tsukuyomi , a caster have a limited range of vision and his senses are highly concentrated into casting genjutsu so he is in risk of attack fr0m behind. A counter attack at this stage can be very dangerous to the caster. for eg a person can use shadow clone as a bait while the real person can attack from behind.
6.There is huge risk of loosing an eye due to blindness
7.A lot of energy is drained after tsukuyomi making the person's vision blurry and weak . so the caster is at very risk

so it seems like Tsukuyomi is only a show off jutsu with very little battle application.

Tsukuyomi paralyzes and makes the victim unconscious. then you can kill them with ease

Typically yes,although being in a long coma can't qualify as being alive.

No,it was stated by several characters that Tsunade was the only one who could cure the trauma caused by Tsukiyomi.She is known to do the impossible in terms of medicine like helping Lee regain the ability to walk.

That doesn't mean you can't wake up from it and lee had surgery
