Show me Itachi having a hard time placing someone in a genjutsu & then you have an argument.

His point stands, Itachi is one of the greatest genjutsu users in the manga, if you think that Itachi will have a hard time looking or pointing at kisame's eyes then you must provide a reason why.

^That's Jiraiya explaining to Naruto how to cancel genjutsu. There's no proof a much lesser intelligent being even knows what to do in such a situation. Even people with brains had to have the methods taught to them at one point.

Kisame could definitely win. It just seemed that the general consensus was that Samehada automatically/instantly breaks genjutsu. And since Itachi specializes in genjutsu, you can understand the significance here.

You guys do realize that totsuka sword is a weapon that can actually be used for swinging, right? It's also not made of chakra. Kisame has no other option but becoming a dismembered corpse like Hydra when Susano'o swings that.

GSB is countered by a totsuka swing, or piercing Kisame while he's stationary and casting it.
WD is countered by beating the shit out of kisame in his own dome with a non chakra based entity.

And, that's assuming Kisame survives that long, as a crow bushin feint is enough to lunge a sword in kisame's brain. Itachi has so many factors going for him it's not even funny. Strength and a chakra pool aren't enough to save Kisame's life. Especially when itachi can easily match his strength with a rigcage susano'o arm.

Top right, genjutsu is simply involked by looking into the users eyes. Dont restrict what a jutsu does based on feats, lol.

I guess FTG can't teleport susanoo because there are no feats of it doing so.

Oro can't use eight branches because he needs a body with a CM in order to do so..

See where I'm going with this? The genjutsu is activated by looking into ones eyes, range is never mentioned & is simply your made up restriction.

1) He would first have to realize he's in one before he can attempt to break out.

2) Samehada isn't a factor when "it" hasn't even been shown to understand the mechanics of genjutsu, have no idea what it even is; thus not knowing how to break Kisame out.

Lol what are you talking about? We can't decide? It's fact that Itachi can replicate the surroundings perfectly and kisame will have no Idea that he is even in a genjutsu.

Regarding biting his tongue you keep forgetting that kisame bit his tongue near half way through Ao'd interregation, during that time duration Itachi can easily decapitate him, please don't say kisame will bite his tongue instantly when he first has to realize his in it.
