Itachi eyes were not a free power up

u serious? naruto trained hart for sage mode, it wasnt like he just try to learn it and failed, but the frogs gaved it him anyway because they saw he pushed himself hard.
he really learned it and mastered it.

and entering sage mode while being in bijuu mode isnt a power up.

Last time i checked he asked for them and obito gave them to him willing. Unless asking Obito for itachi's eyes and having obito implant them is "sauske pushing himself"

He literally willingly gave Sasuke his eyes. Sasuke didn't kill Itachi to get his eyes, Itachi died of illness and left Sasuke his eyes.

Sasuke had a free place to live just like Naruto, he didn't live in the forest, he got a free education as well there is no entrance fee to the Ninja Academy and he had no job to pay or parents to pay for him just like Naruto, Naruto had to steal the scroll it wasn't free and he only got 1 jutsu from it. Grow up and quit crying.

3. You mean that Sage Mode he used clones to condense a series of training into a week.

4. You mean that Chakra pool from Kurama he got by fighting, defeating, and befriending Kurama. Since you know... It wasn't the 2nd highest until then.

5. You mean that Hokage scroll he had to Steal.... And sexually harass/assault the Hokage to escape?


Let's not play a game of "free power ups" amongst the two main characters of Naruto. Compared to anyone else in the series they got theirs a lot more nicely than anyone else: I mean look at Lee.

Works years for that speed, Sharingan instantly copies. Not to say Sasuke isn't the only one getting what feels like insta grab power ups lol.




OT: Considering Itachi was going to die anyways AND planned to die by Sasuke's hands.... It can be looked at as a pretty risk free power up since no plan to kill Sasuke existed.


But I mean the fact you had to take your brother's eyesight or life is an argument against it being free.

But at this point towards the end why bother talk about how they got them than how will they use them?!

The ability to obtain itachi's eyes is what is considered "free". But yes you have a point, I consider fighting Itachi the equivalent to naruto learning SM/fighting pain & naruto learning to control kurama's chakra is the same as sasuke fighting the 5 kage (which lead to him gaining EMS).

He was being pushed & trained, he didnt just obtain these items for free, but the ability to get them without any hastle is what makes people consider it "free" which should just be discredited altogether.

Tbh I don't really care, a powerup is a powerup so people who complain about "freebies" should just stop reading the manga because everyone OP has a "freebie".

The point is he worked hard, & got a powerup.
