Well technically obito beat him at his own game, except sasuke ruined it because he brought hashirama to the field which gave madara a final trump card.

We're not even sure if Madz' trump card will succeed, it's a general rule of Shonen that a trump card revealed prior to its execution always fails. And it would be too redundant if Madz steals Hashi's power a 2nd time since he already did back at VotE
