Yes, I have no previous training. I was training in ninjutsu with Negative Knight but I didn't learn any jutsu.

Alrighty then. Since we are doing it from the beginning... explain a few things to me like i'm a 4 year old monkey.
- What is a ninja?
- What is chakra?
- What is ninjutsu? Additionally, how does shape/nature manipulation apply to ninjutsu?
- What are hand seals? What purpose do they serve?

Ninja
Shinobi, or ninja, are the primary focus of the Naruto series. They are usually found in ninja villages. The leader of one of the five most powerful ninja villages is called a Kage (''shadow''). The Kage can send shinobi of the village on missions and makes sure the village is okay. The Kage is also the person who gives orders to the village's ANBU.
Shinobi are given ranks based on their power and ability. The first rank, Genin, is gained by completing training at the Ninja Academy. After passing the Chunin exam, one can get the Chunin rank. The third rank is Jounin and the last is Kage.
A shinobi who has defected from their village is called a nuke-nin (missing ninja). Nuke-nin have a bounty placed on their heads by the Kage of the village and also, the village ANBU are sent to destroy their body.

Shinobi don't necessarily have to use chakra. Rock Lee and for the most part, Gai, are good examples of this. Shinobi simply are "soldiers" to put it in the simplest terms. Medical shinobi are still shinobi, even though they don't directly fight. Also, handseals - how are they used? Why are hand seals sometimes necessary for a technique to take place?

Handseals are performed by making shapes with the user's hands. They are used to mould chakra properly.

That's what I always thought. I never understood how shinobi used weird hand symbols to control their chakra and perform jutsu O_O

xD Seals are used as chakra markers; Basically you need to focus "x" quantity of chakra at this point. Multiple hand seals require multiple chakra markers in order to execute the technique properly. They are basically coding, if you've ever messed with HTML or CSS.
Anyway, explain to me the Basic 5 elements in detail, as well as 2 advanced chakra natures.

Lightning Release: Lightning Release, or Raiton is one of the five Basic Elemental Chakra Natures. Raiton is strong against Doton due to the fact that lightning can easily break through it. Lightning's weakness is wind because wind is a natural insulator of electricity. Raiton has a special relationship with Suiton because water is an electrical conductor, which means that Suiton can be used to augment the power of a lightning attack and vice-versa. Katon can also be used in conjunction with lightning. The user can use a powerful Katon technique to alter the weather conditions in preparation for a powerful Raiton attack utilizing natural lightning (Kirin).
Fire Release: Fire Release, or Katon is one of the five elemental chakra natures. It is weak against water as water can extinguish fire. Fire is strong against wind because wind feeds flame and increases its power. Fire can also be used in conjunction with Lightning when a powerful Fire Release technique is used to alter the weather conditions in preparation for a powerful Lightning Release technique (Kirin). Members of the Uchiha clan have a fire affinity. Fire Release is a component of the following advanced nature Kekkei Genkai: Lava Release and Boil Release. It is also a component of the Kekkei Tota Dust Release. Fire's nature is destructive, it spreads and grows larger, destroying anything it can. However, if fire is controlled properly, it can be used to give life, warmth, and comfort. In order for fire to be used like this, you need to know how to control it properly. If you cannot control it, then it will get out of control and it can harm you.
Earth Release: Earth Release, or Doton, is one of the five basic elemental chakra natures. It is weak to lightning because lightning can easily travel through earth and destroy it. Doton is strong against water because water is liquid and earth is solid. Also because earth can absorb water. I don't think Earth has been used in combos with any other elements.
Doton is a component of Wood Release, Lava Release, and Dust Release.
Doton can be used in different ways. It can be used in hard solid rock form, it could also be used in a liquid mud form.
Water Release: Water Release, or Suiton, is one of the five elemental chakra natures. It is strong against Katon because the water naturally extinguishes the flames, although a powerful enough fire jutsu can cause evaporation when clashing with a water jutsu. Suiton is weak to Doton because earth is solid and water is liquid. Suiton can be used in conjunction with Raiton because water is a natural electrical conductor. Water Release is a component of the following nature kekkei genkai: Ice, Wood, Storm and Boil Release.
Wind Release: Wind Release, or Futon, is one of the five basic elemental chakra transformations. It is weak against Katon because the wind feeds the flames and makes them more powerful, and this means that wind techniques can be used in conjunction with fire techniques to augment the latter's power. It can also be used with Water release. The wind can push the water to make it flow faster. It can also be used in a similar manner with Earth. It can be used to push up earth, dust etc to create things like dust storms and smokescreens or push mud like with water. Wind is strong against Raiton because wind is a natural electrical insulator. Futon is a component of the following nature Kekkei Genkai: Ice Release and Scorch Release. It is also a component of the Kekkei Tota Dust Release.

Lava Release: or Yōton, is an advanced nature kekkei genkai which combines Earth and fire to create molten rock (lava). Throughout the series, Yoton has been seen used by shinobi from three different villages, Kirigakure, Kumogakure and Iwagakure. It has also been seen in five forms. The first is a flowing, syrup-like form of lava used by the Mizukage, Mei Terumi. Son Goku and its jinchuriki Roshi from Iwagakure use a form of lava which is a solid, basically flaming rocks that are melting. Kurotsuchi of Iwagakure uses lava in the form of quicklime, which is a corrosive substance. Dodai of Kumogakure uses Yoton in the form of vulcanised rubber. Yoton is weak to lightning nd it is strong to earth and fire.
Ice Release: or Hyōton, is an advanced nature kekkei genkai which combines Water and Wind to create ice. The Hyoton Kekkei genkai is a rare KG that originates from the Yuki Clan. Despite being ice, it is resistant to fire techniques and can only be overpowered by fire jutsu one or more ranks above it. Ice is weak to Earth and Lightning and it is strong to water and wind.

(Fukumi Hari) - Hidden Needles
(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique
Neji begins by moulding chakra inside his body and focusing it into his mouth. He uses my chakra to summon sharp needles inside my mouth without Lee noticing. He spits them out at Lee, aiming with great accuracy at his vital organs. The needles stab into thee opponent and leave him with a large amount of pain.
Battle use:
When you are in close range battle, you could surprise the opponent by quickly spitting needles at them.
Technique I would pair it with:
If you have a Byakugan bio, you could use the Byakugan to be able to aim better for the specific places you want the needles to hit.

(Kage Shuriken no Jutsu) - Shadow Shuriken Technique
Neji begins this technique by equipping himself with two Fuma Shuriken. He throws one of the shuriken at Sasuke. While Sasuke is focusing on that shuriken, Neji throws the other one underneath it, using the first's shadow to hide it. Sasuke deflects away the first shuriken without defending against the other one. The second shuriken hits him and slashes his legs.
Battle use: You would use it when you want to land a hit on the opponent without them noticing it.
Technique I would pair it with: I would pair it with the Rasenshuriken and use Rasenshuriken instead of Fuma shuriken to increase the techniques power.

It can only be used against animal (summons or not) and works by forcefully using your chakra to restrain the summon physically by holding it in place. It can, however, be broken by outside means or brute force, making it less effective against bigger summons like boss summons or similar.
Note: lasts only as long as the user is focusing on the target to sustain it.
For this technique, extend your chakra into my summon, using that as a way to paralyze/bind her. Basically, it's an anti-summon technique. Because you can't use any other techniques while you are concentrating, how could you disperse my summon while having her bound so she cant defend?
