It was blatantly obvious Sakura was going to gain Byakugou ever since she got the seal. When I said this months ago, everybody was just like "Nah man it's only the seal". It should have been obvious she was going to get it, just like how it was obvious Tobi was Obito.

If anything, Sasuke's Perfect Susano'o stunt was an asspull...

thats what i hate the most its annoying to see sakura just busting out jutsu left , right and center and the only explanation is that see has been working on it for a while now :/. she's been on screen for long portion of shippuden and we didnt see any of these training

in fact sakura is better than tsunade cause sakura is also a genjutsu type

It was stated that they needed to use the byakugo itself, not release the seal. In order to use the Byakugo you first need to release the seal. So it's not just a seal release.

"Let's use Byakugo together" not "Let's use/release the seal together".

The manga's nearing its end, so I'm afraid we won't see anything totally new any more :| Only powered-up versions of known stuff.

But I don't see why they need regeneration to summon the slug. Not to mention they didn't released the seal completely.
