I feel like a least one Kage HAS to die in this next fight, it just wouldn't feel right if they all still survive after tsuki no me is over

right now since all the OP characters will fight & play some part in the battlefield , Kishi has to start killing higher characters , not just fodders .

Well I'd assume so considering there's like 20 fodders left haha. Agreed tho main characters are probably gonna start dropping soon

The reason why Kishi kept Tsunade alive is simple: He wants to show the full might of the Five Hokages.
Onoki... well he swore that he is going to defeat Madara no matter what, so probably he will have an important role in defeating him.

A true villain would have killed them all off.

It's quite the opposite, Tsuande should have died healing the Gokage.

Her death would have tied the 5 nations closer together, and it also opens up a Hokage seat.

I don't see her playing any significant role in this war, or any further Arc for that matter.

And when you take into account of how much chakra she used during the Madara fight, and keeping herself and the Gokage alive after being split by a tree.. her being alive makes no sense.

But it's Kishimoto's Manga, and he does as he pleases.

I think tsunade should have died from trying to save everyone. If she did that, then there is a reason for oonoki and the others to live on through her sacrifice. But now oro saved them and I'm just like... :what:

Oro didnt save the kages .tsunade healed them on her own

Oro didnt even save tsunade it was karin and suigetsu

Suigetsu hold her body parts

Karin gave her energy

And tsunade healed herself through katsuyu

She healed the kages by herself

I would not have been happy with an off panel death like that.

Wanting Tsunade to die just to open up a hokage seat is a bit selfish. She could still have roles the opportunities vary being the 5 hokage doing a lil somethin or tsunade and hashirama moments and seeing naruto achieve his dream. She doesn't have to die to give it up if she feels it's time to.

Maybe she just has that big of a chakra pool. It's not entirely out of the question.

You know when he should've died?

When 2 gigantic meteors, big enough to block the entire sky, bombed him with pinpoint accuracy.

And what happened? Didn't need anything but a chapter of healing.

Lee had 10 chapters just because some folk crushed his bones and was on verge of death. And he waa young and damn strong.

Onoki's back breaks everu damn chapter, without even fighting, and survives after a meteor shower.

Kishi.... Just what the actual hell?

At the bold, no.. if Tsunade would've died (which she honestly should have), there should have been an entire chapter dedicated to her, she's the Hokage.

If you think I want her to die merely to open up a Hokage seat, then you obviously only read half of my post.

Her being alive has no relevance, the only thing she could do better as a Hokage would probably be paperwork... which Naruto could honestly have a right hand man for.

And to be honest, the seat of Hokage should've been stripped from her after Pain, because she obviously couldn't protect the village, and without Naruto, Konoha wouldn't exist.. but this really isn't about that, so lets no get into it.

Her having pure nostalgic moments with Hashirama shouldn't have voided her death, unless Kishimoto plans to kill her off in front of Hashirama, causing a frenzy.

And where exactly does this giant Chakra pool come from..? I know in the Pain arc she was attending to almost everyone in the village, but she wasn't making a large difference, leading me to believe that her healing wasn't sufficing.
Tsunade's death would have been very good writing, as it made much sense at that given time. I don't think Tsunade could get a better death than that, Kishimoto passed up a good oppurtunity.

Though, I'll restate this... It's Kishimoto's Manga, and he does as he pleases.

Are you insane? Unlike Konoha, we haven't seen another shinobi fit to be Tsuchikage, even Kitsuchi would look pretty weak compared to the other Kage. At least if Tsunade had died, there's a good list of candidates.

Without her, most of the village would've been dead. You couldn't have one without the other.

Misconception on your part.

Her healing was absolutely irrelevant, Nagato brought back everyone who was dead in Konoha to life.

And? Their bodies would still be severly injured.

A soul isn't going to do much when the vessel is crippled or just fit for the grave/cemetery.

dying should be the job of those who cant contribute anything significant *cough*neji*cough*

even dead characters are coming back to fight for the living so why kill powerful characters

Then why was Madara originally expecting to be revived with Rinne Tensei? Not Edo Tensei? Madara's body would have been in a skeletal like fashion, but he still seemed to have high expecations of Rinne Tenseri working on him.

Please.
