I can understand Tsunade, but Onoki should have died

I personally have no hate against the guy, in fact he's actually pretty epic, but he should have died. Even though the fact that Tsunade survived annoyed me, I can kind of understand that Kishi wanted to make her have a reunion with Hashirama (and maybe even Tobirama if she was close to her) and Hiruzen. But Onoki doesn't have something like that.

The whole speech he made to Madara about the past:
'We shinobi spend our entire lives in battle. Fighting only for our own villages. Never empathising with others, only taking for our lives! If we rob, and are robbed in turn.... If we are robbed from, We take back in revenge. Being old has its perks. To think I'd live to see the day when the Five Kage would stand and fight together!'

This was the opportunity to give Onoki a perfect send off and would have truly inspired the story, leaving his will to Kitsuchi and Kurotsuchi.

I think tsunade should have died from trying to save everyone. If she did that, then there is a reason for oonoki and the others to live on through her sacrifice. But now oro saved them and I'm just like...

Ay, Tsunade and Onoki all do, but I don't think there's any successor to the Mist and Mei is still pretty young.

Tsunade needs closer, Oonoki is possibly alive to explain some justu, and the rest are alive to hype Tsunade healing abilities. "Even on the brink of die she manage to maintain the life of the Kage."

There's no easy way to say this , but Onokki, Tsunade & Ay should have died .
hopefully they do this time around , the only ones who should live are Gara & Mei .

The only logical survival was Gaara, not only is he the new generation but he's also the only person in the Sand village who can take on the kazekage role.Also he died already at the start of Shippuden.The old fart should've died but oh well i'll enjoy the content kishi provides.​

Younger ones in trouble has already been established with Neji and Shikamaru IMO.
