[Discussion] Naruto and One piece.

I've seen a lot of people compare these two mangas. And I came to the conclusion:

Dialogues - Naruto>One Piece. Naruto has some truly amazing dialogues and quotes from characters. One piece is not in the same league in this aspect.

Fights - I'd say about the same. Naruto=One piece. Both mangas have their own techniques and skills i.e. Haki+Devil Fruit in One Piece and Jutsus+Kekkei Genkai in Naruto.

Plot - I'd say about the same or maybe One Piece slightly ahead. One Piece>=Naruto.

Design - Characters and Graphics in the MANGA? Naruto>One Piece hands down.

X-Factor: Ability to surprise you and knock you off your feet? One Piece>Naruto.

Note:One Piece has an unmatchable arc in the Marineford War. It will be a challenge to match, let alone surpass, an arc like that one in the final arc.
Naruto also ended strongly in Part 1. The last 4-5 chapters of Part 1 are masterpieces.

What do you guys think?

Naruto Shippuden<<<<<One Piece after Time Skip.

One Piece just has that x factor where you(I) get excited seeing Luffy about to get into a fight, Naruto lost that for me the further it got into Shippuden.

And even if I were to ignore it, the slow pacing of the story even kills you off, I'll rather read The Breaker/The Breaker:NW/Feng Shen Ji/Tower of God:scorps:
Don't get me wrong, OP is an incredible story but from what I've heard from a friend, Naruto>OP IMHO U_U

Everything about OP is better than Naruto.
The reason I say this is because I can literally find 3 flaws with OP and allot more with Naruto.
Ope flaws : Not enough die, I don't like the exaggerated faces, Pell surviving that nuke is bullsh*t

No Plot is DEF One Piece Nigga are you HIGH naruto is easy to predict One Piece is not. One Piece Past > Naruto Past dude i want to know about Gol D roger Garp and ect plus those Poneglyph. Fights are equal well. Luffy and Zoro Fights are wayyy more entertaining than Naruto.

One Piece will continue another 500 episodes im glad i remembered One Piece from Toonami days

Lmao when was the last time you seen a shuriken used by a main character HA State the chapter. Genjutsu last one i seen was used by Uchiha other genjutsu are basically useless except toad one. Naruto is at end One piece is mid through and 100 times better there is MORE DEVIL Fruit and more to haki

You'll get over it. Just give it a shot. I think most people who like naruto will definitely like one piece too, once they get over the eccentric design, that is.

Just makes me wonder if One piece characters were scaled to real life size, how much more popular would it have been? Imagine admirals at 6'8 and Whitebeard at 7'2.

I am not really a fair judge because for me the main character often decides how good an anime is going to be based on the main character and honestly I think that Monkey D. Luffy is one of the most awesome main characters SJ has ever produced. I respect Luffy and as an interesting main character
Luffy pwns Naruto (my oppinion)
But, then again I have disliked naruto since part one so like I said BIASED.
Anyway for me One Piece > Naruto.

No. Naruto dialogues have much more impact compared to one piece. That is one aspect Naruto is definitely better in, no doubt.

I think Kishi lost his way a bit halfway through Part 2. Part 1 Naruto is awesome, just like One piece part 1 is. Let's hope Oda doesn't make the same mistake. It would be a real shame.

Dumb? I wouldn't say so. I guess it's different for everyone though. I, for one, do believe dialogues do contribute towards making a manga what it will be remembered as.
