I just thought of that. lol Would it be overpowered? I mean, create water (Logias can do that right? Like Monet creates snow), then make a whirlpool or something. Opponent drowned and dead. Also, would they be able to control the water inside people? That'd be uber OP.

Sorry if the idea is illogical and/or stupid, or if someone already has/had that power. Just struck me as a fruit that could be pretty strong.

Edit: They wouldn't be able to create/make salt water, obviously.

Are DF eaters weak to any water or just sea/salt water? I thought it was only salt water they are weak to.

We've seen Luffy feel weak in any water... I have no idea whether its Luffy acting like an idiot or genuine but Fishman Karate does everything a logia does except possessing a non solid body.

Water logia is totally legit, as far as I know DF users are only effected by salt water.

They are weak to all forms of water that encompass their knees and up. At least they lose mobility when it's that high.​

Well, Luffy fought Croc while covered in fresh water, right? That's why I think they're only weak to salt water.

There wasn't much water though. There's a difference from a coating and a pool. Otherwise DF users would be weak against their own sweat.

I just read on the wiki that DF eaters are weak to any type of water. Oda said, though, that "moving" water such as rain or waves doesn't affect a DF, but still water does. So, I think a Water Devil Fruit user would be okay then, right? As long as he kept his water moving? lol

I think it would be too risky and controversial. There would most likely be an uproar among fans.
On top of that if he is water he cannot be weak to water. Which goes against the devil fruits weakness and therefore can't really tick the criteria boxes to be a devil fruit.
