Why? Kabuto didn't intend to kill Sasuke either. He wanted to continue what Orochimaru was doing. Dont get me wrong, I like Itachi better than Kabuto anyday. But there is a reason kabuto is so high on peoples top ten. He can be immune to Genjutsu, Sense oncoming danger, is incredibly fast, sound genjutsu, Orochimarus white snake jutsu, Kidomarus web jutsu. People underestimate how OP He is. It's not even funny how strong he is :|
1. Yes Bee was stronger. After being wrecked early on, Suigetsu recommends going with a killing intent...something Sasuke seemingly agrees with or else he'd have states no. Even if you do mot buy that, when he does use Amaterasu, it wasn't done with the intent of KOing Bee but to literally kill him in order to save Karin, Juugo, and Suigetsu. And immediately afterwards he was tires to the point of collapsing while Bee had practically all of his stamina meaning he could have just speed blitzed them in an ambush or gone BM once more...Sasuke was practically done.
The only reason he didn't was because Bee could use it to help himself escape Kumo to go explore.
2. They couldn't kill Kabuto because of Kabuto's power. His Edo Tensei is his own trump card technique. The need to not kill Kabuto was established by Kabuto as his own move. They had a choice to kill him, but did not because of his Edo tensei.
Furthermore,.Kabuto placed three kill shots on Itachi, and one of which would have ended with him being re-written had Sasuke not been there. Plus who's to say why can't Kabuto just summon his entire Edo Army...the fact he was basically soloing the Narutoverse makes the scales against Kabuto.

But in addition, Obito always fought using Kamui. Meaning to say, he revolved his style around it. As such fighting in an unfamiliar style (without Kamui) he starts at a disadvantage. Then you add on without Kamui he cannot use his ranbu no bakuffu or throw out his weapons (giant shuriken)...he's lost two powerful weapons.
Kakashi was clearly better in practical combat so being kicked out of his usual style was game over for him...but it didn't mean Kakashi > Obito....it isn't true.

He obviously broke out of the genjutsu and he put izamami on him the first time he was stabbed.

Itachi held back in the fight, it even says so in the manga, "Sasuke don't aim to kill, we need him alive" true Kabuto got kill shots in, but again Itachi wasn't fighign to kill, he was holding back. if Itachi wanted to win, he would've barbecued him with amtersu, or stabbed him with totsuka, or just speedblitzed him.

1) true, but sasuke was injured at the point that he decided to attack him with killing intent, and before that point, bee had the upper hand but he lost it after that moment. So if they start the battle all over both with killing intent, Sasuke wouldnt tire that quick.
2) im sorry but the bold is pure bs. kabuto didnt know the truth about itachi or that sasuke/itachi would want to stop the edo tensei, he didnt expect that. As for the three kill shots, dont remember that so you might be right on this one.
But reverse summoning edo tensei? nahh i mean, fighting in his own field is an advantage he can get, but well prepared edo tensei? I dont consider all the ET bodies as his assets because they would only count in a battle in which he actually prepared them for and i know he did in this one, but that shouldnt contribute to his top 10 position.

Kabuto > Itachi/Sasuke. Without his Edo body itachi would've died and sasuke would have followed, Kabuto could simply just reverse summon his Edo's if he really wanted to dig the knife in. You also seem to forget kabuto has no intent on killing either.
He wanted to capture Sasuke alive and he wanted to regain controll of itachi.

Itachi didn't need Sasuke's help to break the sound genjutsu. Tayuya's sound genjutsu (or genjutsu in general) can be broken by inflicting pain onto yourself (

Itachi could still move his head around, talk, see his surroundings, and use sharingan techs. His choice in the dispelling the genjutsu allowed him to free Sasuke and not just himself.
Honestly, some people are really overestimating Tayuya's ability. Here the entire Sound 4 are completely exhausted after using Curse Seal lv2 against 2 fodder jounins:

Even if they had intent to kill from the start it would have changed nothing. Bee even stated they were weakling and that was after they went at him with killing intent.
He did want to regain controll over itachi, After kabuto cut him in half you see kabuto attempting to place a marked Kunai into him (similar to what Orochimaru did to the senju brothers)
