*She sits on a rock and waits for her senpai to arrive.*
Well done, everything mentioned. However, here are the somewhat "official" descriptions of each term which were explained to me by my sensei Scorps.Well senpai, I'm sorry I'm late but I was helping an old lady to carry her luggage U_U
A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction or even revenge. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the five great nations (the Land of Earth, the Land of Lightning, the Land of Water, the Land of Wind and the Land of Fire).
In the Narutovers, chakra is the life essence within the world and living things. It is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being. Chakra consists of two components: Yin (spiritual chakra) and Yang (physical chakra) which are balanced between the two. The Yin half of chakra is associated with mental strength and intelligence and genjutsu. Studying, increasing one's knowledge adheres to Yin chakra. Yang chakra more commonly associated with ninjutsu and physical stamina is obtained through physical training to increase endurance and practicing jutsu.
Ninjutsu is the style of fighting used by shinobi. The style entails the training in basics such as stealth, concealing, basic weapon usage, basic trap making, survival tactics and fighting strategics and the fundamentals of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu. Ninjutsu are done by molding the chakra and using it to produce the desired technique. This is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use handseals.
There are five known elements: Wind Release (Fuuton), Water Release (Suiton), Lightning Release (Raiton), Fire Release (Katon) and Earth Release (Doton). Each of these releases has a weakness and a strength towards another element:
-Fire Release is weak against Water Release and strong against Wind Release
-Lightning Release is weak against Wind Release but strong against Earth Release
-Earth Release is weak against Lightning Release but strong against Water Release
-Water Release is weak against Earth Release but strong against Fire Release
-Wind Release is weak against Fire Release but strong against Lightning Release
Regarding elements, I will put a few words on my own. As you already said there are basic 5 elements and they can be arranged into a circle, corresponding to their strengths and weaknesses. Those elements are Water > Fire > Wind > Lightning > Earth. Each of these is a natural occurrence in our world and through intensive studying and practicing we became able to manipulate and even create them. In the manga and anime you see regular ninja with one or two elements as their main traits but for the purpose of our RP, it's allowed to have all five. Each element has it's own characteristics and there are strong facts as to why some elements are stronger/weaker than other.±± Ninja ±±
A ninja is someone who uses their full abilities in the service of his/hers beliefs, working to achieve a goal. This goal can be anything from peace to war, money, destruction, personal griefs or even revenge and can be shared with others or individual. Most ninjas are fighters and correspond to the bulk of the military force of the great nations. However, a ninja doesn't need to be a fighter. Even medics or a simple carpenter may, in times of need, use his abilities (medical knowledge or abilities in working with wood for example) to accomplish the goals he set to himself, following his beliefs.
±± Chakra ±±
Chakra is the energy that is formed through the passive combination of both the Physical and the Spiritual energies in a sentient being (every living being with a conscious mind has chakra). Physical energy corresponds to the vitality of the body and its own energy. Spiritual energy corresponds to the mind or spirit, and comes from the awareness and "soul" of each sentient being.
Some ninjas have high levels of chakra because they have great physical energy (like the Akimichi or even Tsunade) and others because of their spiritual energy (like the Uchiha and the Yamanaka). However, its much more difficult to increase the spiritual energy than the physical one, thus why all ninjas pass through intensive physical workout.
Yin and Yang are based on this same concept. Yin is the basis of the spirit while Yang the basis of the body. In this i won't go into more dept because there are 2 things to consider: Yin/Yang manipulation in our RP is different from the manga one and both are more or less inacessible.
Chakra flows in a circulatory system inside your body, in a way that much resembles the blood circulation. This circulatory system has 8 small reservoirs that act as both storage but also chakra regulation. These are the eight inner gates. Along your circulatory system, small "portals" exist that enable you to expell chakra from your body. These are called Tenketsu and there are 361 of them scattered allong the body. When a tenketsu opens, chakra poors out of it. Its by molding the chakra that comes out of the tenketsu that you produce ninjutsu and genjutsu.
±± Ninjutsu ±±
Ninjutsu, or Ninja Arts, is the ability to, through the use of chakra, accomplish tasks that would be otherwise impossible to do. Ninjutsu are done by 2 stepts: focusing your chakra and molding your chakra. Focusing is using your will power to "will" a portion of your chakra to do something. On the other hand, molding is giving your chakra a set of characteristics that will enable you to produce the desired end effect.
Think of the chakra flow as our breathing. Normally, it happens passively, without any conscious intervention. However, when you need to you can use your will to control it. Its the same with your chakra flow. Its happens normally without your consicious intervention. However, you can focus your chakra and make it produce something.
Now, molding the chakra is done by two basic principles: Shape Manipulation and Nature Transformation. These correspond to the two broad areas that one needs to change in the chakra to produce a jutsu. Shape manipulation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired form while Nature transformation pertains to the ability to give your chakra a desired set of characteristics/properties. Sometimes, to better mold chakra, ninja use Handseals. Handseals are simply hand gestures that allow the ninja to more easily concentrate and mold the chakra into the desired technique.
Good. Now, what can you tell me about the wind element chakra-wise? How would you theoretically use your regular chakra in order to create wind chakra? I suggest you sit down, relax and focus on your breathing. Try to imagine the chakra flowing and the processes it goes through in order to "transform". Describe everything you feel.Great reading material with a lot detail, I like that! I have no questions.
Excellent. Remember: fast and sharp. Without those properties you won't be able to perform the techniques. Now, this is a chakra paper. I show it and hand it to you. I'm sure you already know what it does. It reacts to elemental natures. It works so that you place it on your palm and cover it with the palm of the other hand. While you're still sitting, try it once more time but slowly channel the chakra towards your hands and try to expel it through the chakra points in your palms. If you succeed the paper should be split in two.*I sit comfortably on the ground and I start to meditate. I close my eyes, then I clear my mind and I start thinking about Wind.*
I start feeling the pleasant breeze and the sound made by it, I also feel the wind on my skin. It's such a amazing feeling that makes you feel cold, but at the same time satisfied. As the wind flows against my exterior body I begin to feel my flow of chakra recognizing the relation of the flow of my chakra to the flow of wind and my subconscious begins to affiliate the sensation my chakra flow with the sensation of the wind. I then concern myself only with the relation between the wind's natural flows and my own chakra. I start feeling my chakra going crazy from founding it's twin nature. I feel the chakra spreading through my entire body. It spreads in all directions of my body, being small, but fast and sharp in large quantities.
*I then open my eyes and feel a small expanding from my body.*
Excellent. Now that you're able to manipulate wind chakra we can move onto the techniques where we will use shape manipulation. Now, just before we start with the techniques, there's one more important thing I'd like to point out. Each element has something called categories in which jutsus can be divided. They can be projectiles, balls, currents, waves, etc. Without further ado, I'd like to copy the content from the Method Training Guide made by Reborn because it's an amazing guide that will help us get through this training.*First I grab the chakra paper with my right hand and place it between my palms.* Then I begin to gather wind-infused chakra into the palms where I held the chakra paper and I begin to think of Wind as a pleasant breeze, which calms the mind. I feel the cool wind and it's presence around the environment. Then I begin to channel that chakra into my hand. With that thinking I concentrate even more chakra into my palms. Slowly my regular chakra started to mold into wind chakra and and I directed the flow of that chakra into the chakra paper, picturing the image of it being cut in half. I'm careful to balance the chakra just enough that it won't shatter the chakra paper and not so little so that it can't cut all the way through. As the chakra flows towards the paper, it splits in two.

Element Explanation
Wind Release is the element that allows us to create and manipulate wind. When you think of wind you think of something that is fast, free flowing, unpredictable, and strong. In the Narutoverse and in our RP, wind release has a variety of different properties which makes it versatile in its own right. For one, we have the ability to create long and short powerful gusts of flowing wind. Mainly these techniques that are designed to provide resistance against oncoming attacks, reversing the trajectory of weaponry, etc. We can also create short concentrated/compressed bursts of wind that give a pseudo solid form which can be used for blunt force or strong impacts. These would mainly be offensive in nature. There is also vacuum or suction power that can be generated, drawing objects in for close combat or sucking away the oxygen for suffocation. However, one of the more prominent abilities of wind release that we’ve come to know from the Narutoverse is the powerful cutting power that it possesses. Mainly from characters like Naruto, Asuma, and Sora, the wind nature has been shown to be able to slice and cut through things like butter. Wind is the movement of many gases in the air, though we’ve been shown to manipulate just the air itself and call it wind release by comparison due to the relationship.
Method System
Method 1: Tangible Blasts
Method 2: Slicing Gusts
Method 3: Vortexes
Method 4: Specifics (Rasengan/Grappling)
Method 1: Tangible Blasts
Alright, for the most part, the techniques within this method consist of large and powerful gusts that you exhale from your mouth or release from another point of the body or simply out of thin air. These gusts contain a few essential properties. These wind techniques can either be long lasting, forceful gusts that have the ability to blow back various items and people/animals of various sizes. These powerful gusts apply a strong pressure in whatever direction release and, therefore any object that comes into contact will be forced back into the direction essentially. If in direct opposition (where one is coming in the direct opposite direction of the wind) or cornered against a wall or obstruction that prevents the flow, the pressure from the wind can have tremendous affects. The second type of skill these techniques may possess are blunt force; wind that is so compressed and refined that once it makes impact with the target it creates a blunt force, almost as if it was hit with a solid object. So techniques that create compact spheres will make impact in similar a way to a bullet or if the wind is spread out a little more like a wall, it could create the sensation of a solid wall impacting, etc. On that note there are distinct ways to casting the two different types of techniques in this section.
1) For Gusts: You'll gather your fuuton chakra through your body to the point of release and then you will release a steady, fast, and powerful gust of wind. You're gathering a fixed amount of chakra and then you're steadily releasing that chakra in the form of wind. You'll need to make sure it's fast and wide as the speed will give more momentum and force behind the technique.
2) For Blunt blasts: Think of projectiles. You'll gather a fixed amount of chakra like you would for any technique and then you would use shape manipulation to compact the wind into a compressed form like a ball, or whatever the technique entails. You'll then release the technique towards your opponent. The wind will be fast so it'll make impact quickly and once it does, it'll make a blunt impact almost like a solid.
Advantages to Method
To one extent, the long gusts, these technique aren’t necessarily the longest in range but many of them are definitely wide and the width of the technique is very crucial. These techniques essentially make it difficult to avoid when one is within length range of the techniques. These techniques can drag out and if not immediately defended, there is enough pressure to prevent your opponent reacting in the way they would want.
In reference to the blunt force blasts, these are where the real damaging factors of this method come in. These techniques are compressed and powerful and they almost simulate an actual solid object making impact. Small and medium sized weaponry or objects can be deflected, potential bone breaking/crushing can occur if hit with a considerably powerful technique. Disorientation, hesitation/inability to quickly rebound from a powerful strike, etc. Earth based techniques can be combatted with techniques like these.
Disadvantages to Method
As stated before, wind is a flowing entity and, even though it can produce powerful techniques, it is a yielding element in some degrees like water. What I mean by this is, for gusts especially, if a solid enough entity is used to defend, the wind cannot force its way through but it will go around. Earth based techniques are especially preferred when blocking wide gusts. The wind will simply move around the solid entity when it realizes it cannot force its way through. Unlike earth or other solid entities, when opposed, wind does not simply drop it diverts the energy around and continues to flow. As well that energy used to find an alternative route is energy lost by the overall technique.
For blunt force blasts, there is a completely different issue. Though fast as all wind techniques, these technique encompass a vastly diminished range with wise than with the gust based techniques of this method. This provides more room for opponents to avoid such techniques without necessarily needing a wide defense/counter. As well, the construction for techniques like this is to compress the wind in order to have it flow in a much tighter and compact space. Since this is indeed, not a solid entity, the wind will most likely disperse upon immediate impact. These are short lived techniques and generally shorter in range. Though these sudden dispersions can be explosive and cause damage, they still encompass a significantly smaller space.

Method 2: Slicing Gusts
Think of the tangible blasts from the first method of this element. Drawing from both the powerful gusts and the blunt force technique, in this method we get into adding the cutting property of Wind Release into the fray. Where in the last method, the primary objective was to provide powerful pressure to create resistance or a short solid impact, this method encompasses those properties, but adds emphasis on blade like properties. As explained in the series, the user of wind release manages to add these sharp properties by thinly rubbing their chakras against one another to fine tune the wind like a blade. Techniques in this method have the ability to slice through flesh and bone, trees, and still give the pressure and resistance as a normal gust would.
Advantages to Method
The most basic advantage is that you still maintain everything you get in the first method such as the powerful resistivity, as well as gaining an additional property. Again, these types of techniques are wider and even if they don’t range out much in length, they can encompass a wide range of targets within the limited range they’re in. As well, with the ability to shred through objects and even flesh, this gives one more of an advantage against solid obstructions, being able to cut through more and weakening them.
As well you have the blunt gusts of wind that act more so like blades, creating cleaner and sharper cuts. Since they’re more concentrated and condensed they essentially create a pseudo-blade.
Disadvantages to Method
These techniques possess the same disadvantages as the tangible gusts do. The yielding nature of wind, though the added cutting power does give assistance it is not the ultimate solution to solid entities, especially earth based solid advanced elements like steel. As well, where there are more than one overarching ability with these techniques there has to be compensation in power somewhere. What I mean is, the power of these techniques is split between the resistive power and the cutting force. When power is divided amongst both of these areas and there is no primary center of focus you may not get as potent a techniques as you want.
For the concentrated attacks, again you suffer from the same disadvantages in the first method, you lack the necessary range of width that you’d get from a general gust. Even if the slicing power is much more potent and concentrated, your narrowed technique makes it easier for your opponent to block or avoid it.

Method 3: Vortexes
Think of tornados or cyclones. In this method the factors of rotation come into the mix. This method focuses on generating powerful gusts or entities of wind through rotation. The rotation adds a couple of useful qualities to the techniques such as their ability to pull objects or opponents with superior suction force, fine tuning sharpness by having the technique form at a central point almost like a drill, or just simply raw destructive power that can uproot and shred. Whatever type jutsu, the key concept of focus and manipulation of wind to cause rotation. The rotation gives more momentum which generates more power.
Advantages of Method
As stated before, the addition of rotation generates more momentum, thereby generating more power. In situations where the rotation of the technique is centered around a specific point or center, the focus the rotation creates a sharper entity like a drill. Techniques of this magnitude generally possess the most power because instead of being wild and uncontrolled, there is a central theme, the wind is drawn in and rotates to some degree which gives more potency in any sort of wind technique whether it be a large gust, brute force, or cutting/shredding power.
Disadvantages of Method

Method 4: Specifics
As the name suggests, these are specific techniques that aren’t classified or outside the any of these three existing methods. What they encompass are properties all their own, alternative forms of wind release. These techniques may have some degree of similarities to other methods but overall, they are unique.
Advantages of Method
Advantages are all dependent on the specific technique
Disadvantages of Method
Disadvantages are all dependent on the specific technique.
Good, now can you tell me some main strengths and weaknesses of these two types. They're similar but still different. I guess the advantages and disadvantages from above can help you, but not everything I'm looking for is in there. Use your brains.Welcome back senpai!
For Gusts:
I first start by gathering my fuuton chakra through my body to the point of release and then I release a steady, fast and very powerful gust of wind. Afterwards, I'm gathering a fixed amount of chakra and then I'm steadily releasing that chakra in the form of wind. I also make sure it's fast and wide as the speed will give more momentum and force behind the technique.
For Blunt blasts:
*I'm relaxing my mind and I start thinking of projectiles.* I start by gathering a fixed amount of chakra and then I use shape manipulation to compact the wind into a compressed form like a ball. I then release the technique, the wind is fast and sharp so it makes impact quickly and once it does, it makes a blunt impact almost like a solid.
All you needed to do was think outside of the box. The box being the wind element and outside of the box being fire. Yeah, wind is weak to fire, we already covered that. But why am I returning to the same thing again? This is why.*I calm my mind and I start thinking* When I'm done thinking, I look you in the eyes and I say "I think I got it senpai" :
Well for Gusts, I would say, that these technique aren't necessarily the longest in range but many of them are definitely wide and the width of the technique is very crucial and they are difficult to avoid when one is within length range of the techniques. Also, these techniques can drag out and if not immediately defended, there is enough pressure to prevent your opponent reacting in the way they would want. One should bear in mind, that there are not only advantages for Gusts. There are also some disadvantages, for example: even though wind can produce powerful techniques, it is a yielding element. What I mean by this is, if a solid enough entity is used to defend, the wind cannot force its way through but it will go around. Earth based techniques are especially preferred when blocking wide gusts. The wind will simply move around the solid entity when it realizes it cannot force its way through.
Now for Blunt blasts it's slightly different. One of the big advantages is that, these techniques are compressed and powerful and they almost simulate an actual solid object making impact. Small and medium sized weaponry or objects can be deflected, potential bone breaking/crushing can occur if hit with a considerably powerful technique. Likewise, Earth based techniques can be combated with techniques like these. As I said before, we should take a look here because here, in comparison with Gusts, the disadvantages are quite a lot, for example: though fast as all wind techniques, these technique encompass a vastly diminished range with wise than with the gust based techniques of this method. This provides more room for opponents to avoid such techniques without necessarily needing a wide defense. Besides, the construction for techniques like this is to compress the wind in order to have it flow in a much tighter and compact space. Since this is indeed, not a solid entity, the wind will most likely disperse upon immediate impact and these techniques are mostly short lived techniques and generally shorter in range.
"I think, that I've managed to mention all advantages and disadvantages senpai."- with a smile on my face I say: "I remembered that I wanted to ask you something." I have one question, senpai. Of the two variations, which one, in your experience, is the most effective in combat, and I mean by that, which of the two is the most powerful one?
