1.God is giving Adam and Eve a choice whether to eat of the tree or not which literally means free will if God didn't give us free will then we would certainly be robots. So adam and eve had a choice to serve God and they sinned.

2.Genesis 4:2-7 Cain was a tiller of the ground and abel was a keeper of sheep but of them brought their offering abel brought the firstborn of his flock and but cain didn't offer the right sacrifice but God gave him another chance but cain killed his brother but instead of killing cain God curse him though he deserved to die for killing his brother. Remember cain could have chosen to just give the right offering it was his choice to kill his brother not Gods. God will not force you to stop doing evil because if he did then you wouldn't have free will.

Here's the thing. Most of you on here are blaming God for all your tragedies. The OP is trying to state that God is unfair and cruel. In reality, Satan is the one who causes the accidents, hence king of sin. Those who do not believe will view this differently, but for those that do, understand that most people on this base are too young. You cannot try to voice your opinion because they being who they are, are just simply stating what they think they know. In reality, they know nothing. We know nothing. So quit trying to disprove that there is no God. And for those who do believe, voice out your opinion, but remember to act the way you believe, not how you feel. Live your life based on your faith and pray for guidance and mercy.

For those of you who are mocking or unbelieving, shame on you. To those who mock, you need to grow up. Just because you do not believe does not mean that you have to make fun of those who do. Because just like you, we are putting our faith that God is real, just like you are putting faith that he is not. Quit wasting time blabbing about how you think you are so special that you deserve everything that is good, and if you end up hurting in some way, quit blaming God for it. Instead, why don't you take some responsibility for yourselves and reflect upon what you did or did not do. For those who suffer with death, it is a part of life for none of us are immortal beings. So quit blaming God for your loss. Instead live for those who have died.

For those who do not believe. I have nothing to say to you except, I hope you find peace, and may God have mercy. Do not testify about why you do not believe unless you are open to hear our testimony.

The entire point of the film is to tell you that yoou can't wait around for God to fix your problems and that you really should be the change you wanna see in the world

good, cause thats what i am doing. i don't pray for god to help me, i am helping myself and following my own beliefs that i know the best thing for myself. The reason for this thread was not a plea for god to fix my problems, is to try and show people why they shouldn't wait for god to fix their problems as he never done so before.

By the way just like when talking about people's cultures you need to respect peoples religious choices. I am a muslim my younger brother is catholic and my parents are atheist my other parents are muslim, yet we never fight on our beliefs we respect each other.

You maybe right but anytime I have a problem I also pray and turn to God. Yes I can't see him but in someway I could feel his presence telling me you can get through this. Thanks you have I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends

"My religion is simple. My religion is kindness." If you are doing good to get into heaven, you're selfish. If you bow down to someone or something your whole life and live strictly according to those rules, you're not your own person. If this "god" does exist (which I do believe in, just not how the majority perceives) it gave us different personalities and soul for a reason. To make use of them.

I don't believe theres anything wrong with doing good if you are rewarded for doing it. As a matter of fact that's what seperates most believing "good" people from non believing "good" people. The fact that believers believe for some reason they will get rewarded for their actions. Theres also nothing wrong with bowing down to someone else, IF that is the true way we are presdestined to live our lives thats just the orderly structure of things. Bowing down or not bowing down does not matter. Truth is all that matters. For example, there was a jewish king that had done wrong in his life and was presented with an ultimatium by the prophet Jeremiah to become a slave. He had three of his sons killed and his tongue cut off and was STILL a slave to the babylonians just because he didn't want to suffer and become a slave. Truth is all that matters.

the reason why i dont believe in god has nothing to do with the suffering in the world but more to do with how he expects the human raise to believe and worship him with out any solid evidence and just expects us to follow the words of a book

1. So we are to suffer because we were given free will? did i ask for free will? or was it god's present, suffering and pain? if given a choice i would choose to be a robot that feels nothing. like god's angels who follow him with no thought or remorese.

Wasen't Satan a creation of God? "the most beautiful of all angels". who was forced to kneel before the next creation of god which was Adam, and when refused to do so explled from heaven because he CHOOSE his belief over god's?

if satan is the king of sin, then god is his father and his creator. every suffring inflicted on humans by satan is a result of god's mistakes with satan and his lack of desire to stop satan. so we continue to suffer.

in the Bible God told Adam & Eve NOT to eat the fruit.. Serpent told them to in order to gain knowledge.
They listened to Serpent and gained knowledge .. God started all of this.. just like the Kage.. <_< :sasuke:

I'll agree that people should not wait for God, instead they should pray for guidance and keep moving forward; however, if this was your angle, you have done so poorly. Either way, you should known better to not post such threads. If you wanted to prove your point, state it more clearly so that next time it does not start a brawl with other members.

What you just said is a lie. Depending on the family, most people are born into a religion. By this I mean Catholic families will most likely bring up catholic kids, etc. It is only when people get older when they start to realize for themselves what they think is true.
