In my opinion God is a jerk, he cleverly sets events such that people are conflicted. he gives pleasures but bound us by rules to deny them. he gives gifts but not allow us to share them. He will bring you to disobey him and then punish you for doing so. here are a couple of examples:
1) The Original Sin, you probably heard the story. Adam and Eve were in the garden of heaven with god, and god gave them one rule, do not eat from the tree of knowledge. Yet for some reason he puts that tree there, for all to see and smell. When the snake (either Satan or evil in general) tempts Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge and Eve tempts Adam. God suddenly act surprised and angry that they disobeyed him. can't God the almight prevent them from eating the apple? he created everything, is it hard to put a barrier or something? can't he make the tree hidden so that men would not be tempted to eat from it? can't he just destroy or simply not make the tree of knowledge? If you give someone the temptation by putting something in front of their house, then tell them they are not allowed to take it. you deliberetly set the scene for them to give up to temptation. If God really did not want Adam and Eve to eat from the tree he shouldn't have made it the easiest thing to do.
2) Cain And Abel, The two sons of Adam And Eve. from what i remember Cain worked the animals while Abel worked the land. They would bring gifts to god but god favoured Abel's gifts, saying that Cain should work harder to receive God's love. In jealousy Cain kills Abel, God becomes very angry and banishes Cain to wander the land, giving him the Sign Of Cain so that all will know who he is and what he has done, as well as so that no plant he seeds will give food and no river he drinks will last. The way i see it God completly denies Cain love, no matter how hard Cain works for it. When he is driven to kill Abel God again seem surprised, How could Cain kill his own brother? he resort to punish Cain by shame. he gives him a Sign that everyone can see, he make sure people will stay away from him, that his family and descendents should be ashamed that they carry his name. It reminds me of that teacher that never lets you answer anything and when you do answer without given premition she punishes you by making you stand in the corner. so you would be ashamed for wanting to be part of that thing.
3) God changes his mind constantly, if you really pay attention to the bible you will see how God can be made to change his mind by various of characters. When the heabrians in the dessert came to worship false gods God says "I will put the Wrath Of god upon them", after Moses talk to him he changes his mind and decide to give the Heabrians a chance. When God wanted to destroy Sedom and Gamora, he talked to Abraham(i think it was him) and told him "If found 50 rightous in the city, i will spare the city", Abraham plea "maybe if 40 rightous found?". God agrees, after which abraham again plea "Maybe 30?". and so on and so forth until they settle on 5 rightous. God made a deal with a mere mortal on the lives of thousends in a city. There are many accounts in the Bible where god changes his mind after talking to humans.
In my opinion these are only very few reasons why God is not worthy of our worship.
Please talk with respect and understanding. even if you are angry or hateful try make your point without insults or shaming. for the benefit of all
