Why it took Sakura 3 years to finish her seal

It took Tsunade years to finish it and that seal is very difficult to complete by it being an S Rank Jutsu. Shizune said that she couldn't do it cuz her chakra control isn't that precise and like I said, even though Sakura completed, it was very difficult to finish.

This would have been an interesting and unique development, but I don't see it happening.

1. It would be worse than the Yin seal....Kishi threw it out there without a SINGLE foreshadow that she was learning it. This would be worse because in addition to it coming out of nowhere...it virtually wouldn't exist on the manga until now.

2. Kishi keeps throwing everyone who isn't a Kage, Uchiha, or Senju out of the story....in the last 5 weeks the alliance has done not much...even though they were supposed to win with overwhelming TEAMWORK.

3. Sakura just received a power up, and made no hint of aiming for anything else...she also said her true potential which referred to the Yin-Seal.


A cool idea, but with no development or even hint of its plausible existence....it just doesn't work. Not to mention her having access to new chakra by awakening them...but her never commenting about how she suddenly felt stronger.

Lastly....it would suck to build up Rock Lee's taijutsu legend status and then troll him by making a ninjutsu variant that probably doesn't have the flaws, and would overall be stronger....then again the way the K11 gets trolled it wouldn't be THAT surprising.

Because forming the seal takes some years. Back in Part 1 Tsunade said to Orochimaru how it took her some time to form it, but it didn't say how much. Now Kishi answered the question. 3 years. And as proof it takes some time is the fact that Orochimaru didn't knew about the seal which is only normal to assume the fact that indeed it took Tsunade as well 3 years to form her seal given that prior to that Orochimaru didn't knew about it.

And another proof to it, it's Shizune who states about the requirements of the seal to be formed and since she is Tsunade's student, there you have the answer.
