Madara and Izuna were not equals

It amazes me that people still think that Madara and Izuna were equals back in the days. I believe that it was Itachi was the only one who stated that they were equals. But 90% of the things he said to Sasuke during that conversation were lies. Itachi also said that Madara took Izuna's eyes by force and we all know that wasn't the case.

We saw kid Izuna fanboy over Madara's powers, hell he couldn't even believe that there were people alive who were stronger than his big brother Madara. And we also saw how protective Madara was, people are protective of vulnerable people, Madara wouldn't behave like that if his brother was as strong as he was.

I know that Izuna had MS, however MS alone doesn't make you a top tier shinobi or equal to MS Madara. For one, we have no idea what kind of power Izuna MS was. Second having the same doujutsu doesn't mean your equally strong. If that was the case than Hinata would been as strong as Neji.

Madara and Izuna lived in the same conditions. But Madara was always protective of him, he even felt like he failed to protect him when he died. And Itachi was telling Sasuke one lie after the other, do you have other proof?

Tobirama is Unforgiving against uchiha and Hashirama is more forgiving as we saw in previous manga when he let madara live. The fact that someone said something means nothing because we have seen for ourselves that they both got handled.

Two people have now confirmed they were equal, there's nothing in the manga which proves otherwise and the two people that said it were knowledgeable in Uchiha history.
