Jiraiya, Itachi, and Orochimaru

Something has always troubled me about these three. Itachi is afraid of Jiraiya, Jiraiya got beaten up pretty badly by Orochimaru, yet Orochimaru was easily bested by Itachi. How does that work?

We saw Jiraiya beat Itachi + Kisame after Itachi beat up Sasuke. Later, Orochimaru fights Jiraiya one-on-one and gets hurt pretty badly. And of course, we saw what happened when Orochimaru tried to take Itachi's body in Ataksuki.

So how do you explain it? Was Itachi holding back when he fought Jiraiya? Was Jiraiya holding back when he fought Orochimaru?

Itachi is more powerful than jiraiya and all the sannin. I believe the only reason itachi said to kisame if they fought it will end in a stalemate was simply because he did not want to kill jiraiya, a legendary sannin. Itachi loved the leaf villiage and did not care about akatsuki's goals. And even if he really did think it would end in a stalemate, itachi never underestimated his opponents and at times even overestimated them.

But in part 1 Itachi said he and Kisame would die if they fought Jiraiya or something like that. I'm just going by what was said in the manga.

Also, Itachi 1-shotted jiraiya's toad mouth bind which jiraiya said was impossible to escape.

Jiraiya was drugged in that fight by tsunade . Tsunade was basically retired . Oro didnt have his arms . No arms , no sage mode, no byakugo . Id hardly say anybody went all out in that fight

Itachi showed more techniques, better taijutsu & even shurikenjutsu.

You mean as an Edo? Well I don't know if that counts, we'll see if Kishimoto makes another one. But I wouldn't be surprised if all the Edo characters have the same stats as when they were alive if he does. :erm:

Itachi didnt have his crimson balsam stars, he didnt have susanoo's magatama, he didnt have water dragon jutsu & he didnt have izanami.

Itachi's taijutsu is also unrestricted because kabuto had him on an auto command. That is how a healthy Itachi fights with no restrictions (against sasuke).

He needs to force Oro into doing the handseals, the Edo Hokages will kill Itachi before he gets a chance to perform a genjutsu on Oro.

What do the paths of pein have to do with anything he was talking about?

Jiraiya didnt even go up against deva path (peins strongest ability by far), so why are you even bringing them up.........?

So what you're saying is hiruzen is stronger than Itachi?

& dont give me that a>b>c logic crap, hiruzen was on his deathbed, 10 years younger & he would've killed oro, yet he still managed to seal those useless controlled edos.

If oro programed the edos then they become fodders, if oro gives them their personality then hashi kills him.

Deva path clearly said that if Jirayia would of known about the connected vision and the other paths, he would of been dead. Tell me how a sick Itachi even has a chance against deva path
