Sakura was able to save him from the curse once before and has been able to show she can reach his heart, so maybe she's going to attempt to stop him from whatever she noticed happening. This could spell her doom however.

I also find it a bit odd and funny that the little spawns are smiling up at Sasuke like they are his minions. I wanted to laugh at that part. My first thought was "are they waiting for him to give them a command?" I really thought when he said to "burn them down" he was referring to the alliance and was commanding the Juubi.

Read it on ***********. He only says "Burn". When you read a good translation you see he really wasn't being so evil.

Also it just struck me, didn't he try to kill all the Kages before? Suddenly Orochimaru appears at Tsunade's side just as Sai was questioning his goal? The look on Sakura's face could also refer to Tsunade and the Kages fate she suddenly became aware of, and I don't think it was her leaving. I read it again and it was Orochimaru suddenly appearing. Maybe Sasuke wants to kill the Kages so only he can rule.

I don't think so. I mean he never had hidden agendas. And that wouldn't be something Itachi would want him to do. And he didn't want kill Kages ,he targeted Danzo,they were just in the way.

As I said in another topic, the other plan would be to bring the Kages into battle. Sakura's expression bothers me though, she is not thinking positively about it. I think she fears the old (bad) Sasuke returning.

About what you said with the Sakura foreshadowing. That sounds really good to me actually, ANY confrontation between Sakura and Sasuke would be absolute gold. They haven't had one in such a long time, I wonder how it will happen.

And I think that tear was one of happiness. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, Team 7 was reunited again. And fighting side by side. Don't you think that would be just a little tear jerking for poor Sakura? xD

I'm sorry, am I missing something? I'm simply stating the plain fact that Kishi has NEVER foreshadowed ANYTHING without a purpose. This prediction is literally based off everything Kishimoto himself has done up until this point, along with a few other facts to support it.

You're probably just a bit agitated from the amount of these threads swarming the site right now, I understand. Don't worry about it.

I actually suspected something in the chapter when Jugo was wondering what Sasuke was thinking. When I voiced it, everyone brushed me off saying it was nothing. This chapter is proving my gut feeling is right and Sasuke is up to something.

I'm just good at foreshadowing and seriously Naruto plays out like so many RPG's I've played since I was a child. I'm 29 now and still playing RPGs and the route this is going seems like Sasuke is going to try and eliminate anything/anyone that might cause history to repeat.

I agree, and I really wish we could have seen more of Dan. I really liked him! It seems the role of Hokage is like a prize to win now, without true acceptance of the responsibilities that have to be undertaken by the one who rules Konoha.

I hope there is a moment too, but knowing Kishimoto, it will go from tender to deadly within seconds. lol
