I actually believe that's possible. By eliminating all that might stand in his way (especially the Kages who would most likely not let him live after this is over) he could return to Konoha and rule it. Naruto of course wouldn't allow it and the final battle would ensue.

I wouldn't say his motives are ulterior, he wants to save Konoha in his own way. By becoming Hokage he would make sure that what happened to the Uchiha would never happen to anyone again, but his true goal isn't to be Hokage. I think he intends to eliminate the old ways literally and start anew.
It would be nice to see them uniting in a good way. Sakura's waited long enough for him to come home, but she definitely suspects something.
Um...where does Sakura disappear? You people don't know how to read mangas like seriously, you pick up on something that is not there. The second to last panel, right after Sakura has that dumb look on her face, the one with the lines and everything? That is obviously speed/arrival lines drawn for ****ing Orochimaru and them arriving at Tsunade, you can clearly see Orochimaru just landed from him racing to Tsunade. Are you people that dense that you think that was Sakura moving?Yeah,a lot of people are saying that there is a SasuSaku foreshadowing there

It's not an opinion that you can defend. It CLEARLY is showing the movement/arrival of Orochimaru. Nothing else. There is no opinion in that.
lol no one's an idiot for having their own POV, but I have to admit Kishimoto's panel placement is all over the place lately. It's as if the chaos happening in the story is playing out for the readers who try and follow the order. I personally love it!
