Dragonball z became best anime

I used to like naruto more than dbz but naruto storyline totally ruined especially in war arc .
One piece is for children !! I saw first 50 episodes and it's so childish .
Attack of titan is still new so don't count it here while bleach is totally lame.

I agree on OP being childish and Bleach is bad.

Never seen Attack of Titan, or whatever it's called.

But Naruto is still better. You can't just say it's overall bad because you didn't like one arc. :|

Attack of titan is great anime but it's still new .
It only has 9 episodes ..

Claymore was dope, Deadman Wonderland(but the shit got cancelled), Mirrai Nikki.... shit... the more I think of it, the more series actually are a lot better than the main ones.

DBZ is simply good for nostalgia. That's it.
It shouldn't even be mentioned as best anime.

I haven't catch up with OP completely; yet it's by far, better than DBZ in terms of nearly everything.
Bleach - I always felt it was overstretched story after Aizen was gone.
Shingeki no Kyojin is overrated if we say it's the Best Ever. That being said, it's story is safely better than DBZ...
Naruto is better than DBZ; even with fillers and flashbacks included.

And as for the poll, I don't consider either to be Best Anime.

@OP: You're just another one of those member who have watched only 2 animes, DBZ and the Top 3 and decides to judge about Best Anime. Complete fail and absolutely lame. Go watch atleast 100 animes and then decide your best...

You need to watch more than 50 episodes of One Piece before you say it's childish. I liked DBZ but, it wasn't my favorite. Naruto is close to ending and it's ending in a horrible way. Never watched/read AOT or Bleach.

Right now my favorite is One Piece.

Dragnball is the beat anime imo. Great action, suspense, humour and generally feel good factor. Naruto is actually an inspiration kishi got from Akira Toriyama. Most of anime fans are too young to rem dbz era that's why they hate on it. Just the fact that dbz is still going strong and selling 20 something years since it's release shows how impacful and popular its been. Imagine one piece or naruto 20 years on, as great anime as they are I doubt they would be as influential and widespread as dragonball. GT is not cannon...

Bloody fight , zabuza death and lots of blood and drama .

I watched 52 episodes of one piece and it was full of crap and I decided to give on watching it since I am old enough to stop watching cartoon .

I watched Dragonball z 10 years ago and it still awesome anime ..
Cell saga was best episodes <3

One Piece has been running since 1999 things were different back then -_- if you havent watched atleast upto the war arc of One Piece then you have no right to say its "childish"

Watch the Alabasta, Sky Island, Water 7, Thriller Bark & Summit War. Your opinion will change. East Blue isn't the best one since it is the first.

DBZ had suspense? What kind of suspense? Good always win, heroes always got revive - how is that suspenseful?

I respect a lot DBZ. Always have. For me, Dragon ball made the connection towards the West and gave real influence to the whole manga generation. Most mangas that were released in the last Decade got popular thanks to the influence brought previously by Dragon Ball. Without it, perhaps, mangas will only have been popular in Japan. Few forums site. Few online hosting of mangas. Few anime streaming. It will have been a Japan craze only. Not a worldwide one. Dragon ball is the one who changed that and still have a longevity enough to inspire some more people and quite some mangakas. For that influence, I respect DBZ and I like it for all the memories. It's highly nostalgic.

But an anime cannot be judged as per its influence or popularity or brainless powerups + action only. There are so many critical levels where there are lots of animes that surpass DBZ in terms of pure quality.
