Did Sasuke really see through Itachi's Tsukuyomi?

To my knowledge, never was it stated either in databook and in the manga that tsukuyomi can kill. When Sasuke got hit by tsukuyomi, Zetsu even said it will "only" handicap him

It was a translation error. Kisame never said that, but instead said he was surprised he didn't have a mental break-down after receiving the jutsu

Didn't and not doesn't, didn't implying past and thus meaning during the time the illusion started and ended.... considering the illusion ended in an "instant" , he's obviously speaking of the genjutsu , as it was the only thing preceding the statement

Concerning Kakashi's statement, obviously he would say that. He was at Itachi's mercy after receiving that genjutsu. He could even barely move. Reason why he is suprised he didn't take the opportunity to kill him

I think Itachi didn't use his best Tsukuyomi. Though, Sasuke being able to break through it only using his 3 tomoe sharingan is a great feat.

Hence Zetsu's statement about Sasuke being more skilled was wrong.

Itachi LET Sasuke win, as it was stated he planned everything about the fight.

He couldnt, CM ( aka SM) was reason for that, sasuke enhanced his sharingan and won genjutsu battle.
Clearly not everything went as itachi planned.

It does not take a instant when some1 is able to resist being caught into it. Sasuke delayed it with base sharingan and on the verge of loosing used CM and broke it very same moment. Even itachi was surprised. And itachi isnt the one to fake weaknesses or give fake praises

He never actually used the Curse Seal. When the genjutsu is lifted, he isn't even in CS1 when a moment before he was in CS2.
