Did Sasuke really see through Itachi's Tsukuyomi?

The whole "itachi didn't want to kill sasuke" thing is just an excuse Imo sasuke broke through tsukuyomi even itachi was surprised so yes 3 tomoe sasuke beat tsukuhomi fair and square

It's a yes and no thing. Yes, Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi. No, Itachi wasn't really trying. We don't what effect a shinobi's effort would have in the potency of Tsukuyomi. Logic would dictate that the more effort you put into doing something, the stronger it could be.

Not really they were different each time.. the 1st time he didn't try to incapacitate him.. he just showed him what did to the clan.. unless you think pre sharingan little kid was better than kakashi at taking tsukuyomi ad his older self when he was caught again. Plus how would Sasuke know? I mean he believed Itachi was trying to kill him when in fact he wasnt.

Tsukiyomi has the effect of causing mental trauma, Itachi just has the ability to control the perception of time within the illusion; that's what's special about Tsukiyomi compared to other illusions. Whatever arguments you make about the first time, Sasuke was left a drooling mess, the second time Sasuke was left in the hospital.

Itachi didn't pull his punches either, notice how Itachi tried and succeeded in nailing Sasuke with Amaterasu despite not wanting to kill him?
