Seriously she had potential especially as Tsunade's desciple

She should have had Slug Summons
Byakugou
Be able to use genjutsu effectively, she has always had good chakra control
Had a nature release etc.
Just the little stuff as to not be considered fodder

Yeah, the odd thing is that weve seen her fight so rarely that despite apparently having a knack for it, she was never shown to cast genjutsu. It could have been a useful backup to naruto nd sasukes brawling style of fighting.

I don't hate her, especially like most of the trolls in this forum. But I dislike her, personality wise. I've reread the series, starting from the very first chapter. She's an annoying vain brat from the start of the series. Shippuden was supposed to change that, given that she was given the role of saving Kankuro and fighting with Sasori, but then Kishi wrote her as an immature teenager greatly driven by her emotions, as seen with her decision about Sasuke in this arc and so on. It just sealed it completely.

I don't have a problem with her skills. She's the support after all, but she didn't get as much spotlight unlike the other people in her team who are now really really powerful. Though I still wonder about her being inclined with Genjutsu as said in the beginning of the series.

Well those emotions in part 1 never really disappeared, they just got buried beneath the surface. I strongly disagree that the majority of what shes shown in this manga can be considered skills. Kishi did a poor job of integrating this character into the show.

isnt she the embodiment of human weaknesses in the narutoverse, something like that.. having born in a simple family with no unique talents, still she has been able to find her self in the ninja world.
im no sakura fan but i consider her character one of the best in the series.

And being able to smash giant walls isnt exactly the embodiment of human weakness lol. Shes an inconsistent and poorly developed character imho.

I'll give you the part about Pain. That's a good point that she should have been back up, but it also breaks Tsunade's rule. She would have had to release her chakra reserves in order to be of help to Kakashi. It didn't make sense. You got a entire village of ninja taking on seven invaders and there were innocents being hurt. She did right healing the injured before hand. There was no inital indication Tsuande was going to pull the stunt she did.
