Which event wouldve changed your opinion on sakura

Ive noticed 90-95% members dislike sakura. Mostly this is because of how shes percieved to be weak combat wise(her medical skills actually compensate this, but lets put that aside for now.) esp compared to the other main characters.

Finally, kishimoto seems to have decided to give her combat development and most ppl are saying too little too late. Well this thread islike a poll survey, what in the manga should have gone differently for sakura to justify her role as main heroine?
Ill start:
in the invasion of pain arc, sakura shouldve been kakashis back up against deva pain instead of chouji. With katsuyu, her healing was pointless anyway.
Her help couldve delayed konohas destruction and made her more useful to the village.
Which event(s) would you have her portrayed different?

Seriously she had potential especially as Tsunade's desciple

She should have had Slug Summons
Byakugou
Be able to use genjutsu effectively, she has always had good chakra control
Had a nature release etc.
Just the little stuff as to not be considered fodder

Bad thing is, Kishi had a lot of opportunities to make Sakura a very effective person. But, alas, she isn't a main character therefore never saw the limelight.

I agree with that. It's all Katsuya's dumbass fault. He is on the ground incapable of moving and she doesn't ask for back-up from those who can help?

i mean sakura was on a hill pretty far away from the action whereas hinata came out of nowhere and she knew for herself what was going on

I don't hate her, especially like most of the trolls in this forum. But I dislike her, personality wise. I've reread the series, starting from the very first chapter. She's an annoying vain brat from the start of the series. Shippuden was supposed to change that, given that she was given the role of saving Kankuro and fighting with Sasori, but then Kishi wrote her as an immature teenager greatly driven by her emotions, as seen with her decision about Sasuke in this arc and so on. It just sealed it completely.

I don't have a problem with her skills. She's the support after all, but she didn't get as much spotlight unlike the other people in her team who are now really really powerful. Though I still wonder about her being inclined with Genjutsu as said in the beginning of the series.

I'm not a fan of Sakura because of her infatuation with Sasuke and because of the "confession" with Naruto. She wants to be more useful but she couldn't pull the trigger with Sasuke so since that whole arc, my respect for he has declined. I'm not some bandwagon hater though.

There's so many moments where she could have been used.

Maybe during the Hidan and Kakazu fight.
Backing up Kakashi when he was fighting Pain.
She should of DEFINITELY fought Edo Zabuza and Haku. Would of shown how far she's come from the beginning to now.

But alas, Kishi cares very little for female characters.
