Water dome and fusion with Samehada will allow him to keep up. And Kisame's natural ability to absorb chakra on top of Samehada's will allow him to absorb any lighting based tech the Raikage tries to hit him with.

While I agree with you on the point that Kisame can likely take out Itachi. Kisame had used that jutsu after absorbing massive amounts of the Hachibi's chakra, Samehada was transfering this chakra to Kisame to heal him after Kisame took a deadly blow from Bee.

Normally, I doubt he would be able to do something of this size without wasting nearly his entire reserves. He could do it on a smaller scale, sure. But not exactly on that size. And Kisame wouldn't start his fight like that. It's obvious that he used the Water Dome on Killer Bee to end the fight as soon as possible. Kisame isn't a dumb character and recognized the threat Killer Bee did poss to him. The easiest way to deal with him was to fuse with Samehada and then use the Water Dome with the surplus of chakra he now had.

Itachi would more then likely catch Kisame in some genjutsu at the start of the fight, anyways. Kisame could realize that he needs to go all out to win against Itachi. Or he could realize that he can easily outlast Itachi when push comes to shove.

My point is. . . Itachi won't have to worry about the Water Dome until later on in the fight. And by then, he would probably have Susano'o up and breathing would be the least of his worries.

hey i think tobirama is at the level of hashirama....... in manga 620 tobirama raised his chakra just a little bit and the entire place was crumbling and everyone just shit their pants......i bet tobirama is ridiculously strong just like hashi and madara

Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi still oneshots Kisame.Yata tanks everything Kisame has to offer. Totsuka Blitz is not out of question considering Kisame's horrible speed out of water.

They both have info on each other I don't think he will be hit by amaterasu but, he is done if tsukuyomi hits. I'll change it to maybe for now.

His base speed wasn't that bad, he was able to keep up with Gai when he only had 30% of his chakra. Itachi can't keep Yata up forever and if is placed in WPSD he can't hold his breath forever.
