  • - While reading the description of this technique, i really liked the range so i thought it would be a valid advantage or strong point. As most people normally st the terrain to Mid-Range, this technique would be great for further purposes that i will explain later -
  • - Because of the range, as i said earlier. Most people would set the range as mid. This would be a great technique to bind/immobilize my opponent, while following up with a very powerful technique, intended to kill my opponent. As they are 'glued' there will only be a few possibilities of ways to escape -
  • - Iv'e saved the best point for last imo. I believe the most impressive aspect of this technique is it lasting for two turns. Because this lasts for two turns, if your opponent gets caught, they are screwed. With this also come the advantage that it's rain. This means it can hit several enemies on the battle field. If the user don't pay attention to the radius of where he makes the rain drop, he can get caught him/herself. -
Weak points

  • - For a weak point of this technique, i just hate the fact that you would have to require an already created water source, or use natural rain. If you use natural rain, you would then have to infuse it with your chakra. If you want to create a water source, you would then have to use one of your 3 jutsu slots for that turn, creating a water source.-
  • - Another weak point as i said before is the radius of where the rain falls. If the radius is too large any you are in its proximity, you will also get caught in your own technique and this will use to your opponents advantage, leaving you open for an attack-
  • - Finally, knowing that its rain, it would most likely come from above, and rain clouds would most likely for. My opponent would most likely blow away the clouds or create some type of protective dome to shield him or she from the rain. -
Combinations-strategies

Ways i would combo with this technique would either paralyze my opponent with temp body paralysis, then i would proceed with this technique, so just in-case they get out my first technique, once they go to counter the rain would have already started to fall upon them. As they are now glues, i would take the rains conductivity aspect into action by using a high ranked lightning, or one that has enough power to kill. I would use False Darkness because its extremely fast and i can make the spear slit into several different spears, allowing me to target the most vital areas.

Ways to counter this technique

Seeing as the rain would start to fall, i would try my best to blow away the clouds with a wind technique that falls from the sky, pushing away the clouds and attacking my opponent at the same time. Lets say i avoid the rain technique, but the sticky rain is on the floor and i get caught in it. I would still be ok because its only my legs are glues. I can create a large golem that will be able to life me out this substance, or i can just assault my opponent until i have enough time to devise a plan to get out of the sticky fluid.

As Jack watches the rain fall around the clones, he quickly sends his chakra into the rain at mid rang, stepping back a little giving him enough room so that he don't get caught in his own technique. Jack then begins to change the way the rain is. He makes it stickier, giving it a little more thickness, giving it glue-like characteristics. All this Glue-like rain then falls upon the clones, sticking them to the ground, making them unable to move as jack derives the finishing blow by an aerial attack.

Very good, nothing really to pick out. The only thing I have to say is that keep in mind you can only turn rain and rain techniques int o a gluey substance, not water sources or other water techniques outside of the rain style realm.

(Touei Ame Bushin) - Reflection Rain Clone
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique creates a reflection of the user, this clone is unable to touch physical objects or cause harm. Every move that the user makes the clone mimics at the same time. The reflection clone is destroyed after one hit, this is a tactical technique.
Pretty simple technique, by utilizing the falling rain beside you, I want you to manipulate the rain water and create a reflection of yourself just as if you were looking at a mirror minus in the reversed effect. This clone is very different than other clones. Unlike regular clones this clone will mimic your every movement.

  • - Great for using when the opponent is slightly blinded, thus giving me the elements of serprise. Due to the clone being created beside me, i guess we will look identical -
  • - I like the speed of the technique. I'm guessing the clone will move as fast as I move -
  • - I dont have another one T_T -
Weak points

  • - If the clone mimics my moves, so if i throw a punch with my left hand, does that also mean that the clone will use his left hand to punch? If that''s the case, that will be a little effie in fights, as if i want to use this for close up combat, and i want it to do a right punch, I would have to do a right punch also? -
  • - Another weak point imo is that this sin't like the other clones as i dont think it can use C rank and lower rain techniques can it? I'm not really sure but, i think it can't -
  • - Lastly, the range. I'm not too fond of close range fights, which will make this technique almost useless, as to utilize it would need to get close up. -
Combinations-strategies

I would most likely create the clone, then dash towards the opponent. I would actually blast wind at the clones, making the water from when it disturbs head towards the opponent, obscuring their vision, while the blunt force of the wind continues on towards the opponent.

Ways to counter this technique

As i see the clone running towards me, i would use the vaccum wave technique, rotating 360 degrees, releasing a wave of wind chakra that would hurt the use and the clone at once, thus stopping the effects of the wind. Though, my opponent may use the wind, so i can also, use MEC, dropping the ground 20 meters as the clone and my opponent runs.

As i focus my rain chakra, i make sure to use the rain and create a reflection of myself. This is no ordinary refection. I use the chakra that i sent into the rain to materialize it, giving it a solid form. This form has the exact same features as me, thus making the perfect clone.

Yea you would have to perform a right punch if you wanted the reflection clone to do so as well. And he is unable to perform rain techniques. HOWEVER you can use his rain water source as a medium to perform rain techniques like rain bullets or anything of the sort that fits within its mass. (Small enough to be realistic)

(Amegakure No Jutsu) - Hidden Rain Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that can only be used in rain to conceal oneself, this jutsu is considered a dynamic form of henge. After performing a row of hand-seals, the user seems to disappear. In truth, they have merely assumed a form that mimics rain. Fast movements and physical contact with others may reveal the user
This technique is very similar to the hiding in water technique. After performing an unknown number of hand-seals, I want you to focus your chakra throughout your body and the rain around you, allowing you to conceal yourself by mimicking the falling rain in around you. This is very similar to the concealment technique however you don't use lighting, instead you use the rain itself as cover by manipulating it.

  • - This technique would be great for hiding when its raining. I can sneak up on the opponent while also giving myself the edge that I may need. -
  • - This can be combined with a gen , thus leaving my opponent blind while i use this technique, thus throwing them off. Only problem is if they are a sensory ninja-
  • - It would be great if it can conceal technique like other rain techniques. Can it? -
Weak points

  • - If my opponent has a dojutsu or chakra sensing, this will be easy for them to deduce -
  • - Well, before the rain can properly fall, my opponent would most likely blow away the clouds. -
  • - Insert info -
Combinations-strategies

Ok, this would be great to use after i use a gen like Infinite darkness. While the opponent is trying to deduce that they were put in a gen, i would make sure that I use this technique. Finally, i would follow with a fast technique, shooting it at the opponent then changing my location.

Ways to counter this technique

As i would get out of the gen, i would be suspicious of the rain and that my opponent is missing. Normally, i would most likely blow away the clouds and stop the rain, thus making it hard for my opponent to do anything. I can also spin 360 and use a technique that covers a massive area.

As i focus my chakra, i then begin to pay close attention tot he falling rain drops. Noting the way the rain is falling, i then
send my chakra into it and mimic the fall, allowing myself to naturally blend into the rain itself hiding me

No, you would not be able to hide other rain techniques, only yourself.

(Hitoshirenu Ame Sai) - Hidden Rain Slash
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra to condense a single raindrop into a more solid form. The raindrop becomes as sharp as a blade. The disadvantage to this jutsu is that the raindrop falls in a straight line.
A very dangerous and sneaky technique. I want you to manipulate your chakra throughout a single rain drop within range. You will then condense the rain drop into a more solid form as you further shape manipulate it to increase its sharpness, allowing you to pierce into your target from above.

  • - I have the elements of surprise -
  • - Good to stop techniques that rise from below-
  • - Great to use to attack from above while using a direct attack-
Weak points

  • - I'm guessing the opponent will be notified when they are hit with the first one -
  • - Is the rain sharp enough to cut through skin? -
  • - If it was B-rank it would be more effective -
Combinations-strategies

This would be great to use after i use rain glue, thus making my opponent stay in place. I will then use this and then shoot a fast lightning test, cutting the body several times then using the slash.

Ways to counter this technique

Once i feel sticky, i would become suspicious, i would most likely use the added weight tech, making the glue, harder and easier to break off? Is that a correct way to counter the rain glue? Also, i find this quite cool tbh, though i would feel the first cut and become skeptical. I would blow a large gust of wind into the air, stopping the slashes.

As i focus my chakra, i send it into the rain. As the rain is in the air, the rain begins to manipulate, beginning to get sharper, allowing it to cut the opponent on contact. As the rain falls, it hits le opponent, cutting their skin, leaving them bleeding.

PS: There is a stronger version of this?

Would you please mind re-doing this technique please? ^_^ It appears you've gotten a bit confused on how the actual technique works. Although, I will give you a small hint ;p

Oh! Single.

As i focus my chakra into the rain, the large amount of rain that is falling, i decide on the best one. I then manipulate my chakra, targeting the rain drop 3 meters tot he right, 4 meters from the ground and send my chakra into it, thus giving it more cutting power. As the one drop hits the tree, it makes a slice mark.

Okay good, so now.. How would you say this technique is exactly good to stop techniques that rise from below? We are talking about a single raindrop so its quite.. out there.. ;p

(Ame Kasui no jutsu) - Rain Spike Technique
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user of this technique must place chakra into one or more raindrops. As the drops of rain hit the ground they create a small sized spike of water from puddles on the ground. For this technique to work there must be water on the ground and it must be raining.
I'd like you to find a puddle that has accumulated over time during the rain. You will then manipulate that very same source of rainwater and shape manipulate a spike made entirely of rainwater to pierce your target.

  • - Good for hitting multiple opponents -
  • - I like the range -
  • - Good to use as a surprise -
Weak points

  • - Must use existing rain -
  • - Can only be used on the ground -
  • - Spikes can only be formed in puddle? -
Combinations-strategies

I would use MEC, dropping the ground, then i would use this. While they are paying attention to the ground moving. Due to the speed of the technique the opponent would be caught off guard this making it hard to counter.

Ways to counter this technique

Well, simple enough, i would most likely start by defending the mec. As the ground lowers, i would use hurricane fist, or ice disk, giving me mobile access.

As i focus my chakra into the the puddle of rain that was created, I begin to think about the words of Mathy sensei. The way the technique would best be executed is if i concentrate on the location of my opponent and get ready to finish him/her off. I then quickly, make the water branch out from all different angles, gagging my opponent from all over with the sudden burst of rain spikes.

Hmm.. it seems that we have run into the same problem as with the single rain drop technique. This technique only makes a single small spike of water, so it wouldn't be very effective to hit multiple enemies as you stated above. And as for your question, yeah that's correct. This can technique can only be used to form the spike with rainwater formed into a puddle on the ground.

(Ame no Yari) - Rain Spear
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: By using chakra to condense a large amount of rainwater into one place, the user creates a spear of water in the clouds. The spear can at any time be called down to strike an opponent with only one hand-seal. The water will stay in the form of spear for a short amount of time (three posts). If the spear is not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain. The only warning this technique gives is a second pause in the rain when the water is gathered and condensed.
One of the many spear techniques you will be learning. I want you to focus your chakra out around the clouds. You will manipulate the rainwater and gather it, shape manipulating the source into a spear of rainwater. With the usage of a single hand seal, you can manipulate the spear to come raining downwards towards your desired target.

OOC: Please pay attention to the descriptions of the techniques :)

  • - Good for attacking from above-
  • - I like the range -
  • - Good to use as a surprise due to it already being raining, the opponent wouldn't suspect it.-
Weak points

  • - Must have clouds -
  • - Must release spear withing 3 posts-
  • - Only one and can move in only one direction -
Combinations-strategies

I would use false surroundings to create an image that the terrain is the same, then use the technique, due to the clouds already being there. If that will work, i would then follow with the antlion technique to make the rain shoot down as the opponent is spiraling in.

Ways to counter this technique

I would feel the slight amount of rain hitting me then i would begin to dissect the situation. I would draw conclusions based on how its sunny and raining, and how I suddenly hear water. I would attack the opponent, thus forcing the stop of antlion, or i could use Nagashi.

As i focus my chakra into the sky, i begin to form several clouds. These clouds will be the main source for the technique i am about to perform. I quickly send that chakra into the clouds using shape manipulation t create a single spear of rain chakra. I then perform one handseal, causing that spear of rain to come "raining" down on my opponent, striking them in the neck.

OOC: Apologizes for the long delay. I wasn't expecting my new job to take out so much out of my free time and such. Add motocross during the weekends and it almost became impossible to log in xD

There are a few things I want to address regarding your reply. First of all, your weak points; "Must have clouds" Nearly 90% of the rain techniques require clouds, maybe not directly but they all do. Why? Because it needs to be raining to utilize the rain source. And without rain clouds, it can not rain. So that weak point could be used for every other template.

The other one is "Must release spear within 3 posts" Considering our usual techniques, is this really a weak point? You are given the option to leave that technique "pending" for three turns. I would say that is quite the strong point.

Now, regarding your false surrounding combo. That would be invalid, Scorps verified it a few months back, that you are unable to do such things. Another example that would be invalid with false surrounding is leaving the area as it is, then "hiding" an antlion underneath it. That would also be invalid.

And lastly, ways to counter this technique; Feel the slight amount of rain hitting you? When using rain techniques, the area would already be covered in rain. Sunny and raining? I think you might have a slight confusion with rain techniques overall. Rain techniques can not be performed without a rain source. And a rain source would imply that there are rain clouds, which means the sky is grey/dark, so no sun.

Are there any questions regarding what I've said, or what you think of rain techniques overall?

Ahh, i understand now. Thanks, or i would have used that gen the wrong way
There are a few things I want to address regarding your reply. First of all, your weak points; "Must have clouds" Nearly 90% of the rain techniques require clouds, maybe not directly but they all do. Why? Because it needs to be raining to utilize the rain source. And without rain clouds, it can not rain. So that weak point could be used for every other template.
The cloud issue might have to be put on hold after this week's anime episode regarding the weather user. However its safe to assume, clouds and cloudy weather is required for the time being.

Now.. lets continue!

(Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Rain Capture Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique causes a target of the user's choice to "attract" raindrops. The water in the rain drops will attach themselves over an opponent. Once enough water has gathered over an enemy it will also attach to the ground, holding the user's opponent to the ground.
I want you to manipulate the rain drops within my clone's vicinity. You will then manipulate them, causing them to attract towards the target, completely soaking him in rainwater. If the individual is already in the ground, you can also shape manipulate the attracted rain water near the ground and the target's feet to bind him in place.

Strong points

  • - This would be good to use to slow the opponent, giving me an opening, depending of my situation. -
  • - As rain is water, when it surrounds the opponent, if they would try to use water, they would shock themselves. -
  • - The technique isn't instantly noticeable, so it can mask itself easily. He would just think of normal rain falling on him as of the terrain-
Weak points

  • - Due tot he range, if the opponent is trying to preserve distance, it would be hard to reach into long range -
  • - I'm guessing this technique will take some time, as you have to wait for the rain to accumulate onto the opponent before you can use it bind the opponent. Though, as you would have used a rain technique before, it would be best to wait a turn or two to use this after your tech has been used-
  • - If the opponent has weights, they would move faster than normal ninja, so the water would fall off od them easily. Same with swift users.-
Combinations-strategies Here you will write down, ways you would use the technique itself in battle, with combinations or strategies.

After this technique is used, i would follow with a quick ice technique, freezing the opponent body, then using a lightning spear technique, to break the ice, thus killing the opponent. The ice would move fast, and due to the technique being used, the opponent would be in a bind, thus rendering them unable to move.

Ways to counter this technique And here you will write down ways to counter the technique. So how you can counter/defend against it if it were coming at you.

As the water would be falling on me and the rain tech is used, i would send my doton chakra into the ground, creating an armor of earth around myself, thus breaking the ice if its used. I would then send a wind attack, maybe pressure damage, to hit the lightning spear and continue towards the opponent. Or, i would use the earth technique, creating a pillar that would shoot me up, before the ice happens and allow me to avoid the lightning.

As i see the rain water building up on your clone, I begin to send my chakra into the rain, imbuing it. As the chakra has entered the rain, i begin sending chakra into the rain all around, allowing it to almost "fly" towards you, and you're like a "magnet" that attracts rain. The rain is sent towards your feet, so that it would accumulate then stick, making it hard for you to move, binding you in one position.

Good.
(Ame Bunshin) - Raining Clones
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that creates false clones of the user around drops of rain. Every clone is totally harmless and is destroyed by one hit or if they collide with the ground or the enemy. This technique is used as more of a distraction than anything.
Similar to the technique you've already learned, I want you to manipulate the rain drops around your short range and make a physical clone entirely of rainwater, taking your exact appearance. This technique is very similar to the haze-clone technique however it has rainwater as a source instead.
