"
Yang is the white side with the black dot on it, and yin is the black side with the white dot on it. The relationship between yin and yang is often described in terms of sunlight playing over a mountain and a valley. Yin (literally the 'shady place' or 'north slope') is the dark area occluded by the mountain's bulk, while yang (literally the 'sunny place' or 'south slope') is the brightly lit portion. As the sun moves across the sky, yin and yang gradually trade places with each other, revealing what was obscured and obscuring what was revealed.
Yin is characterized as slow, soft, yielding, diffuse, cold, wet, and passive; and is associated with water, earth, the moon, femininity and nighttime.
Yang, by contrast, is fast, hard, solid, focused, hot, dry, and aggressive; and is associated with fire, sky, the sun, masculinity and daytime.[5]"
It's not "chakra types."
It's character attributes. Hinata is almost exclusively Yin in the beginning (though Taoist philosophy holds that nothing is so entirely itself that it contains nothing of its opposite - Even the rawest expression of Yin contains some Yang, and vice-versa); Naruto is almost exclusively Yang.
Yet - it is in the nature of the two to change each other and give rise to growth and events. It's the interplay of Yin and Yang that create the world.
You'll see in time. It was Hinata's destiny to stand at Naruto's side - just as it was Neji's destiny to defend the head branch ... and it's that particular member of the Head branch who will play yet another pivotal role in developing the next Sage of Six Paths. Just as it was in the past.

Concept art for Naruto, before the series was green-lit by the publisher.
I do believe this predates even the release of the Naruto pilot series (though that was probably drafted by Kishimoto well before negotiations with the publisher began).
Why didn't I include that to begin with? I didn't know about it.
Yet, I predicted that Kishimoto would have designed Naruto and Hinata as a pair, rather than as two completely separate entities - and here we have fairly strong evidence of just that.
I also predicted a stronger role for Hinata - and, where -teams- get a couple pages ... Hinata gets a whole two and a half pages dedicated specifically to her. In that time - we see yet another Yin-Yang interaction... Hinata is about to submit to her inability to use the 64 palms (because she is not being confident) ... then gains confidence from the interaction we saw back in 615 and pushes through.
Which is exactly what is predicted under this model of character interaction.
Within the next ten chapters, there will be another "Naruhina" moment, provided we don't get random-ass flashbacks. Maybe 15. It can be a little difficult to predict plot movement across chapters. Though the next chapter will likely cut away to Obito and Kakashi.
