[Discussion] Supernovas VS Ace

Pre time skip, Ace stomps all Supernovas (none of them had Haki or were at least conscious of it).
Post time-skip is unknown because we have yet to see any of them in action. Law and Luffy stand a good chance, though, with Zoro perhaps as well.
People underestimate Ace wayyy too much. There's a reason he was one of Whitebeard's commanders... unfortunately, he was trolled pretty badly by Blackbeard...

nah not yet, theyre not nearly there yet, Ace was WBs second commander right after Marco, ppl underestimate him too much, he was very close to admiral level he just got hit by the worst possible matchup (lave, well ... I suppose water would be worse ...)

Well sure, they could take him on, but I think Luffy is the only one who could beat him. Law and Kidd also stand a chance though.
Unlike the other SN who helped each other to fight the Pacifista Drake was able to defeat one by himself. He also effortlessly got in between Killer and Urouge and stopped their attacks.

i might be wrong but as i remember he bit him on the head (because the pacifista was just standing there) and with almost no effort the pacifista shot a laser through him
... thats what I remember

He wasn't that close to Admiral level. As for his position within Whitebeard's rank, just because he was the 2nd division Commander, it doesn't mean he was the 2nd strongest of Whitebeard's crew. Oda has stated this himself that it was about who had stayed there the longest or something like that. Ace took over the position.
Iirc the Pacifista attacked him, he overpowered it, broke it's neck and then got shot.

but overall nothing special, from that you cant say he was the strongest
Not really. Urouge in his base form couldn't overpower the Pacifista but X Drake could. Both of them could overpower it when they transformed and the laser had more effect on Urouge than X Drake.

Kid and Luffy are the only ones who I'd say would have a chance against Ace atm.
Kid is sometimes very underrated I feel.. He's such a boss, but you'll see later. He's gonna be the opponent for Luffy eventually and

We haven't seen Luffy really fight seriously unless you count fight he had with Caesar and honestly when Luffy got serious he defeated him effortlessly so we can't really gauge Luffy's full power yet.
So I think Luffy, Law and maybe Kid would have the ability to beat Ace.

All at once will be a problem, but if a one on one fight (different days) Ace would beat the sh*t out of all of them. Ace already past his supernova years before becoming the 2nd in command captain of WB.

Ace is superior in haki, and has a strong resistance to physical attacks.
