First: Sage of six paths created them himself, so he should know how they work. He know weakness of these weapons or made failsafe in case if they could be used against thim

Second: Creation of all things > Kamui, Sage's weapons and Izanagi

Third: He fought against ****ing Juubi(God who created chakra), most likely originator of all kkg, kekkei totta in Narutoverse, and I really doubt that Juubi just stay there do nothing while SOSP was sealing it in himself as some people state.

Kishi hyped SOSP as God, Saviour of World, he is shown as the most powerful Naruto character that Why I am sure he will give Sage of six paths any abbilites or powers to prove that he is the strongest without doubt

Completing these conditions "curses" the victim; if they utter the word they have said the most during their life, they will be sucked into and trapped within the Benihisago. Saying a homophone of their most frequently spoken word, or even saying nothing at all for a certain amount of time, will also trigger the gourd's suction. The command is not mandatory. The Kōkinjō will not draw out the word soul of its wielder. The item generates an aura that can take the form of additional ropes, giving it a greater range.

In other words Sage of six paths has the most powerful version of Izanagi called Creation of all things.

You can say Obito is the second most powerfull Naruto character, although even then I coul argue but noone can be supperior to SOSP, Sage of six paths is the best in all Shinobi area's(ST Ninjutsu, Elemental Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu) only Juubi is above him by only infinite amount of very powerfull chakra.
