I don't see myself superior. I see the nonconformist hipster wannabes that sit around complaining about the government but refuse to do anything productive to change it as useless. Its like the occupy wall street morons. They sat around complaining about the economy. That didn't change anything. If you have a problem with the government lobby in congress against whatever you think is messed up or better yet get a government job work your way up and change the rules yourself. Change in the government typically comes from the inside not out. No matter how much people think that yelling making signs and blasting something on the internet will change thing it doesn't work that way. Its common sense. If you were working on something that needs to get done but the guy your working with is screwing it up what's better yell at him and hope he gets it right or just do it yourself your own way. My job really isn't hard. Its 90% waiting around and 10% scrambling around at the last minute to accomplish some random tasking and having the patience to put up with dumb pvts and incompetent officers.



The budget and who we fight is for politicians and the people to figure out. Its just my job to go handle things and produce the best end result possible. I agree we had no business in Iraq but when I look at it I focus more on the good we did than the bad. Saddam should have been brought down in the first war and their government is truly better off now. Afghanistan has just been going on too long. Their government will fail because of corruption from every level. Their police are gangsters plain and simple. The higher ups are just fighting each other over scraps. People talk about our government being messed up? They have no idea how good they have it.



I don't give a damn what the politicians think. I don't even vote. I do my job and I help better society by being a productive member of it. You will not. I can't understand how you can hate so many of the people around you. I really don't. As for my life goals if i wanted to be rich i wouldn't be in the military would I? I want to retire when I'm 40. Get a job a regular job and live a typical life in a medium sized house. Your hate for the rest of the world is misplaced. You should take a look at your life because you sound like a very angry and self loathing individual.

i dont get it. Do you know what prolong his parents retirement means? That means it will take LONGER before they can retire. Lets say they wanted to retire at 50. Their daughter now goes to MIT. Now they cant retire until 60. Now their son wants go to college. Now they cannot retire until they are 70. I think you are confusing prolong with making their retirement last longer instead of their retirement being delayed. "Go to college, to prolong your parents retirement"

And how would anyone possibly know that you in particularly will be more successful in life with a college degree than without one?

Lets take Depleted Uranium cores and turn them into tank buster rounds to shoot into mud houses... That cuts the cost of safely destroying it down by almost 70%. Shoot it into the country side in Iraq and let them deal with it. Let's force a country to unofficially become another US colony so we can deplete them of their natural resources and then just walk away. But the mass public doesn't know about this because we're constantly fed messages of fear. The news is constantly pouring out messages of fear to scare people into silent submission. Honestly it's a brilliant ****en plan but wrong and corrupt on ALL levels imaginable.... You say your doing your duty but what i see you doing is adding more fuel to the flame. You talk about THEIR government being corrupt and failing?!?!? Have you been overseas that long that you don't notice the same shit happening here?!??!! You have billionaire politicians scamming people for a few more billions. That being said you would be pretty terrorfied if there were soldiers constantly shooting and bombing close to where your residents is located. War is almost if not always for political reasons. In conclusion you can classify that government as terrorists.

You work at a day care? Good for you. I've got a freaking medal for all the time I've spent working and all the money I've acquired for the animal shelters in the area. I got my team a whole week off of work to go build new dog runs. Like I said in my first post my 1st Sgt demands we be productive with our time. That's why we have to take classes. Getting an education is never bad and you claim that ignorance angers you? You are ignorant. Telling someone that they shouldn't do something that will in fact increase their chances at success angers me greatly. Life is a competition and that little piece of paper you get called a diploma is simply proof that you either aren't stupid or you work really hard which is what people want in an employee. If people really don't want to go to college they certainly don't have to. I certainly didn't plan to when I was 18. Now I've done it and I learned the value of an education. You talk about finance like you hate the idea of having money. Well life is easier when you have money. My ex ruined our marriage because I couldn't trust her to leave enough money in our bank account to pay our rent. You can say money doesn't matter all you want but the fact is it does. You need it to survive. It is proof of how hard you work and how smart you are. Its proof that you make good decisions. I get paid more than most of the people that enlisted at the same time I did. You know why? I studied hard, got promoted, agreed to jump out of airplanes, and knew a second language. Now I get to buy more toys and go enjoy myself more on weekends because I worry less about it.

Recruitment depends on the ability of the candidates....... and usually a degree, work experience or similar is the proof of capabilities of the candidates. In the real world you not only need to HAVE ability but you have actually DISPLAY THE PROOFS of your capabilities to a potential recruiter. While collage is not an absolute guaranteed means of improving or acquiring talents, it is one of the better ways to do so and the degree helps often . . . . . But all this depends on the type of jobs or life your looking for like: if u wanna be a Doctor u WILL have to go to a collage cos no one will willingly trust a self taught random person to do a brain surgery (not that he cant, but chances are low).....

But since you want to help humanity... You can be a scientist and never patent your discoveries (you will need higher education for that though) or inventions or an awareness crusader (but u need a source of income for that too) and our grandchildren may thank you based on your success or a decent and nice politician (God u really need a fair few) or join the army to serve the country or simply get super rich and donate a lot of money to charities while living in humble conditions your self ........ Money does not buy u happiness but u cant be happy without money too....
